That's not due to this.... but still if u want to undo, just replace the original systemui with the present one...

Oh nevermind, I identified the culprit. It was Greenify :/ If I left my notifications on the notification bar and greenify the apps that was sending the notification it will corrupt the notification icons... Thanks anyway for replying

Now for S5PORT ALSO
Now go beyond the limits of different firmwares of different countries. Here is the mod that will work on all stock kitkat builds. Now you may be able to remove the irritating Sim Icon from the status bar of all the builds.

(Although there is no issue, yet Do it at your own risk)

Instructions: (works on all stock kitkat firmwares)
1. download and copy the zip to sd card
2. start the phone in recovery and install the zip
3.restart and done

use the correct one.... one is for stock and the other is for s5 port..
