there are many apps in playstore that can remedy the problem for kitkat sdcard restrictions

ex. : nextapp sdfix - i use this on my galaxy tab pro and it works like a charm

so i don't think that will be a problem hopefully

Sd card restrictions means you cannot alter anything on microsd card in your phone due to restrictions of KitKat, Google has included this feature for the security purpose......Thanks geoge for your wonderful reply. But that app needs root.
And if someone rooted his phone on KitKat, then why does he need this àpp even.

After rooting also, I am unable to find a way to move my apps to SD card.
Have used link2sd etc. but the procedures remain unsuccessful!

Please guide.

Just a query, is there a way to install the update with unlocked bootloader, other than flashing?

yes firmware zip can be made avaliable by a dev which can be flashed by recovery if u r nt comfi with flashtool even though its recommended
