Flash stock kk baseband and radio.
Kernel does not touch radio or baseband.

Rom in many cases, has its own radio and baseband stiched to zip.
That is not really good idea, and lead to such problems.

Ok, so i noticed something
if i go to the settings,about, software
i canot longer see baseband versions
it says unknown

and since this problem now i get a popup that says
loading contacts from usim
if i try to use the dialer or contacts

that pop up was not shown before it is annoying
i guess it have to do with the misbehavior of the phone

i tried to use the LGup to go back to LP stock but it says unknown on the model area
so LGup dont recognize my d801 as it is and cant go past that

:(

can you paste the links please to the basebands and modems

Somehow... when you read UKNOWN on the baseband entry on your phone.. means problems
to me it was signal lost every 20 or so secinds
PAIN IN THE ARCEEEE

So all was come back to normal...

Just want to add that before i done my flashing that messed up my modem or radio
i performed a twrp backup...

and when on the middle of the problem... restoring via twrp from my backup
wont fix the problem... even that i made a backup with a perfect working phone!!! odd!!!

so flashing that baseband saved my A...

This is a KK kernel. Do NOT install it on LP roms.

It is just that simple..

First. Hit thanks button for OP.

Two, edit your previous post about you found a fix..... That is not a real fix since you just install the wrong kernel. Don't make it worth by flashing more stuff on your phone.

Three, you are free NOT to do so.

Four, read twice and think one more time before you flash anything.

otg charging

Hello, is kernel for f320 have support otg with charging? Maybe i need choose some settings in dorimanx?
I tried near 20 kohm between 4 and 5 legs of microusb of otg. If set higher then 20 kohm will get charging, if lower otg worked, but i can't get worked them bouth simultaneously. i get worked my xiaomi m1s otg and charging simultaneously near at 22kohm

Its can be not so easy, as gcc 6.x needs kernel changes that need to be ported.
I cant test if ok.

LP kernel and rom are great.
I cant see why not to upgrade from KK.

Use 30F international rom for d802 and kernel 12.0 and see that its work very nice.

(Use other model kernel and rom for your device if needed)

For me 12. 0 is draining the battery faster than previous one. Same configuration, nothing else installed

I am ready to test it, my phone has been through some tough bricks and I always fixed it so feel free to upload a build without testing it.

    How To Install:

    You will need to have ROOTED device with Recovery installed!
    Refer to other threads for recovery install process.
    You can download TWRP Recovery HERE: Recovery Mirror

    Download kernel, upload it to your SDCARD, anywhere.
    Download STOCK Kernel for your device!
    so you will always have it on sdcard in case of any disaster!!!
    Reboot to Recovery.
    Install kernel as you installed ROM or any mod.

    Reboot! :)

    In case that you stuck on boot logo and want to revert to STOCK kernel.
    Connect USB Push PWR + Vol Down till phone reboot and you will see LG Logo!
    Release and press the buttons again! till you see screen asking if you want to WIPE your device!
    if you have recovery installed, then it's will just OPEN the recovery! no WIPE will happen!!!

    Just push 3 time the PWR key. and you will be moved to recovery.
    Install your device STOCK kernel and wait for FIX.

    If you have installed KK bootloader and bumped recovery! to enter recovery from LG logo now have different button combo!!!

    With the Kitkat update the process has changed:
    Power OFF by holding long the power button till black screen!
    Press and hold power and volume down until you see the LG logo then release and press and hold the volume up and volume down buttons until reset screen appears.

    it's will ask SCARY QUESTIONS!!!! if you want to hard reset your device!!!
    SAY YES/YES!!!! 2 times, then its will show LG logo and boot your custom recovery! in this case the bumped TWRP.

    If you have STOCK Recovery!!!! it's will WIPE your device...

    LG has started to update all ROM + Kernels with new TOUCH SCREEN DRIVER.
    that includes new feature "KNOCK CODE" see youtube!

    For now only for D800/D801/D802/D803/F320/LS/VS980 ROMS that have 20B/D/E/F/U/21P/ZVD base!

    In download site, you will see kernels with normal version just numbers.
    And kernels with "No-Knock-Code" labels.

    If your ROM do not support KNOCK CODE on screen OFF!
    Then use kernel without support for it!
    or you will loose the ability to wake phone with KNOCK KNOCK gesture.

    If knock code on screen OFF is supported use the normal build.

    Soon all ROMS will have support! all depend on LG and our great ROM Devs.

    *About force fast charge. not all devices/models support that HACK.
    so if it's not working for you and you are using DEFAULT profile in STweaks.

    Then it's NOT WORKING FOR YOU. no need to complain. it's HACK. not LG feature.

    much better than old one, it's FAST and less battery drained, but getting
    great "Micro LAG" removal.
    *Merge Fix for mess in freqs after ROM thermal released from limit. now that
    we can control each core by it's it's own freq and gov, ROM thermal made mess.
    Now kernel will take care of that mess, and correct all as should be when core
    is cold again. under 55C.
    *Fixed broken in past freqs in I2C BUS. now all good.
    *Fixed not started MTP on boot. now USB driver will be reloaded after boot.
    if USB/Charger cable is detected. and by this fix MTP or Fast Charge.

    WAIT! don't panic!

    Power drain: check how is the power saving code doing.... it's will save.
    but dont expect 10 hours SOT :)

    all the rest should be good.

    Post real reports if you have something :)

    Ok people i have good news :)

    LG released knock code update for D800 + fixes to knock reaction! For all models.

    I have merged all the goodies to kernel, and after tests its great.

    Also i have found some hiden bugs in code that wasnt reported by gcc as they where hiden....

    Now all solved.

    Also i have merged many updates to gpu code, and now video power increased by 10% from spikes of 50fps to 60fps when testing gpu.

    Overall rom performance is pure smoothness and awesomeness :)

    Many updates to hotplugs and core cpu code.

    Now cores work in smart structure to process one app per core and other cores waiting or doing other things, so this create great user experience.

    But its sucks for bench apps, as cpu dont care if its bench app or phone book, its will not spend all power on it, but give one core on full power on max freq non stop.

    Before this, all cores where stressed and lost power when overheated.

    Waste of battery and constant hot phone, now its coold around 50c internal cpu monitor.
    (Not when stressed by bench app, just normal user messing with device)

    So stay tuned for next release :)
