A bit OT, but as this ROM is not updated anymore we can spoil the thread anyway we want
When downgrading to CM9, my advice would be to do this from TWRP and flash Mackay ICS directly on top of kitkat, with a factory reset both before and after installing Mackay ICS. I have done it 10 times or so in the last few weeks and with two factory reset it works fine, whereas with a single factory reset before installing Mackay ICS, it may result in a bootloop.
As mentioned above, I currently work on a CM-based ROM. But if everyone prefers a Slim-based build, I could consider moving over to Slim. But that's a discussion for the other thread, not for here.@kasper_h ..how bout changing base? I see no one has tried slim base.u might want to know that slimkat 5.8 (4.4.3) is d snappiest kk ROM I've tried lately when paired w/ McKay kernel 690.it has some bugs,ROM side.
I believe u can make it an awesome ROM..with fine-tuning and some added features.
It also looks like mnazim has abandoned the thread.
