What is MIUI Global Beta ROM?

How to Update to MIUI 7?
1) If you're using MIUI global beta ROM, please open 'Updater' app on your phone and check for the update!
2) This OTA has not been pushed for stable ROMs yet. So if you're using stable ROM, you need to download the ROM first and flash it by yourself.
3) Or you can download the full ROM files in the thread and flash the ROM by yourself. To get some tips on how to flash your device, please refer to this link: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html or this thread How to Upgrade From MIUI 6 to MIUI 7 for All Devices!
4) Do remember to make a backup before flashing.

Let me clear this there are two versions of MIUI v7. One based on KK and other 5.0.
The rom is quite fast and fluid and good ram management.
I managed to run 15 system apps and still ~100MB ram left.
And it was not lagging.There are 5 themes now pre installed and it asks you to select during phone setup.
child mode and there are separate options for system and installed apps.
No lag in settings now,
New FILE Browser added
New logo and animation at boot.
Installation Method :-
* Download the ROM and ota and update fix
* Reboot to recovery
* Wipe data/factory reset
* Flash the ROM and then ota one by one and then update fix
* Reboot your phone
* Enjoy
