[KK] [Multi] MIUI7 5.8.27 for Alcatel Idol X+ (TCL S960)

Hey.
I know its probably not the right spot to post this, but I cant seem to find anything anywhere else.
My friend owns an Idol X+ 6043A from Canada.
He did some tinkering and messed up his rom an recovery (and ended up erasing them accidentally).
I was able to find a rom to flash temporarily but the modem drivers are wrong and the phone cant connect to a network.
Would someone have a back up of that or of the original 4.4.2 rom from 6043A?

Again I apologize for the odd post, but I am in the dark and ANY assistance would be very appreciated.

unable to complete install Miui 7 on alcatel idol x plus

Hi,
Ive tried several times to install the rom on my mobile thrpugh recovery mode but it always abort half way through. As per adviced, i used TWRP Manager to install the rom (zip file). Appreciate if someone can assist on this issue.

Can I falsh ROM using SP_flash Tool directly

My Phone got bricked. It is not even booting.

Is there any MIUI ROM available for Alcatel Idol X+, which can be flashed using SP_Flash Tool.
So that I can load the ROM from my PC.

If I want to use TWRP method, how can I copy the ROM on to the Phone?
Kindly let me know the procedure.

Look at my thread... there are in unbrick files with TCL Rom for SP flash tools... then you can update to MIUI 7, in my thread.... or MIUI 8, which requires a more advanced knowledge on repartition

Finally i installed miui7 on my idolx+. Everything is smooth and there are no bugs till i tried to update the miui to 6.5.5 via updater. Can you help me update plz?

What do you mean?
Did you use the files from here? Or did you download from updater?
If you downloaded from updater it will not work...

You have to use the manual update with the files here...

i used the phone updater yes but nothing happend when the download finished (447mb)
So i need to update manually?I have this rom MIUI7 5.8.27 and the updater shows me new update 6.5.5.
Can you send me the update file and help me with the installation coz i am newbie here my friend

When i install thw miui rom it say md5 file does not found.
What i must do?
Skip it and continue install? Or other way?

You don't need the MD5...
Just install.
