SOD

Now i'm afraid to flash the latest build. What exactly is SOD? The phone goes in deep sleep and doesn't wake up?

It mean the phone goes to deep sleep and is not responsing anymore. I does _not_ brick your device. Hold Power-button and Vol-Up for 5 seconds and it will reboot.
However, it seems like a clean install is preferable. Can't speak from experience, as the screens of my XZ cracked in my pocket and I'm now with a Moto E till it's back from repair.

There may still be problems with SODs on the latest build, after switching governors for me it disappeared. I have some logs of the SOD but they dont give away much. It seems to be a scheduling while atomic bug, but no idea where it comes from all of a sudden.
If you guys keep experiencing SODs (after clean install and governor setting) please let me know.

F2FS should work, you just need to change the fstab in ramdisk to f2fs in stead of ext4 for /data. Then use TWRP to format data to f2fs.

PS: If the governor is the culprit, is suspect these one to casue SODs:
adaptive
intelliactive
intellidemand
interactive
lulzactive
ondemandplus
Maybe more..

I also think its related to intelliplug, if you pick mpdecision in stead of intelliplug all seems to be good.

Yeah getting SOD's on cm11, with clean install, noticed on first boot I can't lock the screen by pushing the power button, but after a while it will lock

Edit. When selecting a ringtone no sound is made using the built in sound picker

heavy sod on interactive goverrnor and ondemand governor, havent tested others yet but definitely need a fix for this.. :(
and the recovery isnt working really fine....when i reboot into recovery for the first time and try to flash back the previous version after full wipe, it says error message, sth like abortion 7, none of the ROMs can be installed on recovery

and THEN after system reboot, the phone wont enter into recovery anymore, cannot access to recovery..

After a lot of debugging I have build an experimental boot image, you can download it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7XCSgymRoP0OUhrM2NFZjl4VFU/edit?usp=sharing

I tested this for a short time, and it seems to work. I would appreciate it if you guys could flash it and test it too on different governors. Also push the modules to system/lib/modules.

This is NOT a flashable zip.

Hi
I recently bought a MHB10 Sony BT earpice and I have problems with it on any rom except the stock one. Bassically when I play music on it it kinda stops playing anything for few seconds and then plays again. It does not pause music just stops sending sound. The same sometimes happens when incall. Please have a look at logs. It should be need the end. And there is alot of errors with cpu overload there. Sorry I dont remember if I took log on your rom ot a CM11 but problem is exactly the same here and there.

Awesome work i've been using the test kernel the whole day and didn't have a SOD. Just came back home ans saw a new build. Is there anything changed compared to 26th with test kernel ?
Keep on the good work !

    Intro
I decided to split the kernel from the rom, as CM has now merged the kitkat blobs. So from now on I will only keep updating and building my custom kernel (which is a continuation from original KMA rom).

    Features
    - In sync with CAF
    - Latest blobs
    - Patched to latest 3.4.x version (source: kernel.org)
    - Build with sabermod 4.9 (Strict O3)
    - Lots of governors and schedulers to choose from
    - Powersuspend
    - Intelliplug hotplugging
    - Thermal control
    - Faux Sound Control
    - LUN support cdrom (mount phone image to pc)
    - Kernel tweaks
    - Double tap to wake
    - Undervolt support
    - 192mhz as lowest freq
    - Fastcharge
    - Kexec-hardboot

    What's new
    [22-10-2014]
    - For now only AOSP rom support
    - Remove optimize for size, so full O3 now
    - Include fixed libril for AOSP
    - Cleanup ramdisk

    [07-10-2014]
    - Fix RIL on stock?
    - Add fastcharge
    - Add kexec hardboot patch
    - Move to Anykernel2 (modified by me) permanently

    [02-10-2014]
    - Fix RIL data dropping
    - Fix permissions for new GPS blobs

    [29-09-2014]
    - Merge 3.4.104
    - Merge 10.5.1.A.0.283 kernel and blobs (now in one package, just flash over stock cm)

    [21-09-2014]
    - Merge CAF 1.43
    - SoundControl upstream patches
    - Updated sabermod toolchain

    Hi guys,

Ive been pretty busy lately with school.
I noticed the merge of 4.4 on official CM. This makes my rom kind of obsolete now. And because of limited time I decided to drop the rom and continue with the kernel only. So the next release will be a kernel only release ( of course a continuation of the current one )
    15
So you guys beat me to it. But yeah the new build is up, with full .230 kernel + source. Enjoy! If you encounter any bugs please report (afaik the google drain issue is still there)

Im working on the .230 source. Need to fix some 200 merge conflicts first. Then need to test the blob part. I hope it will be done this week.

@thomas1991_12 btw.. i figured out why Google Play Services goes crazy and drains battery like hell:

It looks like the drain is triggered by the new libinversense_hal based sensors framework.

Switching back to DASH fixes the drain - no idea why, but my best guess would be that the libinversense_hal based sensors framework confuses the 'activity recognition' of google-play-services.
