Your original rom should be in the sammobile firmware archives. Unfortunately if you cant get into download mode that is a problem. Have you tried taking your battery out, then press your power button a few times, then reinsert battery and see if you can boot into download mode.

Thank you, now i can enter to download mode.
I flashed I9195XXUCNK4_I9195YBTCNL3_DBT German ROM, and it works, no ext4 image error!
But there are few german apps, if you know a clean ROM i try to flash it...

Little confused here I have a i9195 shipped with 4.4.2. I got problems with the phone and needed to flash it because Samsung Kies could not do a emergence recovery, only with a specific code....So i googled and found a page where people were asking for codes...don´t remember if it was a samsung support site. Anyway another site i found was selling unlock codes. So i wonder now since i have triggered the KNOX when i had to flash the original firmware via Odin...how could that happen? Also when i looked in settings i was already a developer and USB-debugging enabled, that´s strange i thought sammobile´s firmware was not modified...? Or am i wrong? Anyway if i do a emergency recovery with a unlock code bought from Samsung or whereever, do i get rid of that KNOX-trigger? When i bought the phone i even took a special insurance that covers almost everything, and now warranty is void propably (i live in Sweden). So what can i do, brick it and then drop it on the floor so the screen brakes and then flush some water in it? Yes that insurance covers "accidents"...;) So if Lollipop ever rolls out for the S4 i wan´t to upgrade. As it is now i can only flash a stock firmware without being able to update, or run a CM12 which i do now. Is there any solution for revert the KNOX trigger or should i use my special "warranty....?"

The KNOX bit is kind of a hardware fuse AFAIK, to indicate if the phone has been tempered with. This is relevant for enterprise security related applications. It is triggered when custom recovery or ROM is flashed (an booted?). It's not reversible. But there are a lot of people who are happy running a custom ROM with a KNOX status of 1.

Sent from my GT-I9195 using XDA Free mobile app

I can tell You one thing (Samsung not playing fair so we don't need to), info directly from Samsung - if phone doesn't turn on they don't check it why and just replace MB. Conclusion - make it completely dead so they can't verify knox status.

Any hardware damage that don't leave any marks. Anyway it's not ethical to do something like this so have some honesty and don't make things like this just to have new MB with knox 0x0 but in the situation when You have broken phone and certainty that Samsung wont repair it because knox.

If device doesnt turn on for you it doesnt mean it wont for them(service), they can run several tests on it anyway...

Doing a brick and put some 24 Voltage or little higher in the USB-input, and at the pins in the SIM-card slot will be enough to break some circuits. Be sure to remove the battery first.

This case has two sides: one it's not fair to make something like this and two there is some reason that Samsung don't repair motherboards but replace it so it must be included in cost of phone. High voltage is best option i think.

Well i think it's not fair of Samsung to forever disable updates because of rooting the phone. This ****-treatment to the customers is not acceptable.. So personally i will with a smile on my face fix my phone and get another one before the warranty is out..

Some questions about getting rid of knox

Hello! I have i9192 with I9192XXUBML2 firmware and knox-enabled bootloader. My knox warranty is 0x0. I want to downgrade my bootloader to that version that was before introducing knox. And I don't want to set knox flag to 0x1. I tried to search some information about knox, and as far as I understood my phone will be bricked if I'll try to flash older bootloader via odin/heimdall. But I could not find any information about alternate ways of downgrading bootloader.

For example, what happens if I'll get root using Root de la Vega, then write bootloader image using dd directly to mmcblk device? Will my phone be bricked? Will knox flag be triggered?

Also I've found that there is SDCARD MODE that allows to flash bootloader using image from sdcard. Will this way work for downgrading bootloader?

Can I downgrade bootloader without triggering knox flag using JTAG?

Thanks in advance.
