I have used the app “Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for usb by Paragon software” to mount a NTFS drive to the switch. I can use the app “x-plore” to browse my 1TB drive and can play all my songs and media. However I cannot find the drive in the kodi app. I would greatly like to be able to add all my media to the kodi library.

Any suggestions guys?

I think the reason this isn't working in Kodi is because the android system isn't recognizing the usb drives, they're only being recognized through third party apps. Until the android system itself is able to see the drives under the storage option in the system menu, we're not going to be able to get this to work.

I have found a solution. First you need to root the switch with magisk. Next install the app called stickmount.
If you'd like more details. I plan to write a more in-depth guide.
