In 2nd Post is a zip for emui 5.0.1, fullwipe recommended, or better wait for a newer build by huawei and a usable cust.
Btw, 4.2.1 is in OP, it replaces 4.2. New updates soon, have something in mind for next build.
Ok
I tought I have to install 4.1 and then the emui 5.0.1 zip in the 2nd post. But now i will update stock to b390, then 4.1 and 4.2.1

Thanks for your work :good:

Guys I'm confused.. I have moonlight on my P9 (I don't use it anymore since I own a OP5 now) and I want to try BleWei.. What are the steps to install it correctly?

1) Wipe everything
2) Flash 4.1
3) Flash 4.2.1 (which one? beta or stable? differences?)
4) Flash magisk 14

Correct?

Thanks in advance!

1+2 yes, then you can try stable apps or beta apps.
Step 4 isnt needed.

In 4.2.1 beta branch, every time I install/update an app, the system sends me a notification saying that the app is incompatible with the system.

And the Google Play Store doesn't open unless I delete its data. Then when I close it from the recent apps I have to repeat the process to open it

Hi, I am on L19c185b387 magisk rom, can I install this rom? Or Which one & how plz?
I Support C432 here. If i find a timeframe, i can create a patch for it.

I know that issue, but don't know the bug. It exist about 4 or 5 last playstore versions.

I had the issue too with the play store. So I have downloaded the play store apk from apkmirror and now it's okay!

This Thread is really HORRIBLE..
where the **** I can find the 4.2.1 file?
I see one but it's only 248MB!!?!?! is it really that? or I first need to install 4.2 and then 4.2.1?

I know u don't get paid... I usually donate to good ROM builder... but please be more organised!?!?
Why putting the ROM in OP #2 instead of the main OP? why there's no version but only EMUI 5.0.1 (I guess that file should be ROM 4.2)
I'm on B378 with my P9 L09 (AL-10 debranded via oeminfo change)
which version should I start from? directly 4.2.1 (once I find the right download link)?

Thx a lot if u can clear my mind... otherwise I'll use another ROM ;)))

You make me laugh ?

4.2.1 is an update to 4.1 which is a full ROM.
So you have to install 4.1 then flash 4.2.1 over it.

Build with EMUI 5.0.1 is a standalone ROM and intended as a test build.

Please be more respectful to the OP's work. It's not easy to maintain such a thread.

Thx a lot Marsou77...
U confirm it's not written anywhere...? I was reading the first 4 pages and also the last ones, but no clues about it.
Other ROM OP are way more clear and precise.
I don't wanna be unrespectful, but OPs should respect also their readers in order not to make them waste time and eventually brick phones.
I'm sorry if I seem unpolite, but It's been 2 weeks (not joking) I've been trying to get a nice Nougat version on my P9.
It took me a lot to understand how to debrand from original AL10 version (chinese 64GB) to P09 in order to install all stock ROMs and custom ones as well.. then also rooting it's not easy... I wish I bought a SONY XPERIA again... ahahah way simpler to root...
THX AGAIN..

Anyway.. thx a lot for the great

In fact the 1st post follow a template

Each full version comes with a little changelog and under there is link for full ROM and then for little update and/or patch for P9 variant

2nd post is a little confusing that's true but just read carefully the last few pages will help you to understand

One more thing...
to install this ROM is it needed to start from a Stock B383?
In the OP #1 I read:
"ROM OS Version: 7.x Nougat
ROM Firmware Required: B383/B386"

EDIT: I've just successfully completed the installation starting from B378, rebooted after USB Debug activation. I've got SafetyNet check OK but both ctsProfile and basicIntegrity are false. Is it normal?

THX

To be a little more specific. A patch is always smaller than a full build and intends to flash over a full one. I write everytime what i do atm, if full or patch only, but it only lives, if update get pushed by apk or zip. The organisation is enough for me. I know the steps and others too. The instruction is quick and doesnt need to tell you klick that or klick that, if you handled with twrp before.
Why i dont outsource emui 5.0.1 build is, that i doesnt want a 3rd thread, because i build if official comming anyway to my main threads. This build is just shared, because it exists and i dont want to hold anything to complain with 5.0.

First build at bottom in 1st post almost working complete with b383. All under that base getting the fingerprint bug. Thats why i write which version working.
The b378 is outdated, i recommend to update instead of flashing to old source.

Be careful with the usb debugging, when you exit the dev menu it will uncheck by itself...
I don't know why it doesn't stick. You have to fight with it.
