Is there any difference if installing BlueWei v4.6 over (L09 c432) b386 or b391 (since of wiping System, Data, Vendor, Cust, Product and Version in TWRP)?
Base b358 - does it mean American EVA-L09C212B358
https://www.getdroidtips.com/huawei-p9-b358-nougat-firmware/
and does it include then Camera improvements from L09 c432 b391?
Thanks
Im on B386 Base, but shouldnt differ with B391.
You're right with B358, its actually newer then B393, but i have more to come later today.

Hello @dkionline

Thank you for the new update. I would like to know if you can make a flashable zip of the new camera feature introduced in the B391 firmware.

I know the ROM is designed to fit your needs but this feature looks nice!
If not, maybe you can write a short guide of how to add this feature to the camera app.

Thank again!

Do you mean Moving picture? It is already in the Rom (at least for me). It looks like a little sun in the top bar.

Thanks for the help. You were really nice.

Now seriously, can someone help?
I'm not surprised that some developers have stopped replying to posts, after all, in the op that to install rom need the original rom so how to install from rr it could only one out :)

Did you install BlueWei 4.6 over stock b386 or over b391?
Also, is yours L09 or L19?

Oh you are lucky... I don't have it.
I have flashed over 4.2.2. Did you clean flash?
And, is yours L09 or L19 (maybe it differs)?

Im not surprised to answer this often, if no one can search for it, as im an emui rom developer and i dont know how to get back from aosp and never tested aosp on my P9.
I can only say, that downgrade activates encryption again.
Some people flashing builds, but even dont know, how dload works. Saying , that users should know what they do.
One note for all: 14 days until BlueWei gets 6 months living on xda.

My base was B386.
This could be because of the base?

I have L09.

So I flashed update_data_full_public.zip from C432B391 firmware and got the motion feature! [emoji16]

Did you flash b391 update_data_full_public.zip from TWRP over BlueWei 4.6?

You're right with B358, its actually newer then B393, but i have more to come later today.
My last steps were:
- Back to stock L09 c432 b386 (stock ROM and Recovery)
- OTA upgrading to b391
- Unlocking Bootloader (invoking Hard Reset)
- Flashing TWRP 3.1.1-0 (I like it more than 3.1.1-1, I hope this is not a problem for installing BlueWei)
- Full Nandroid backup of my still clean b391

With b391 I do have Motion Camera, I hope it will stay if I install BlueWei v4.6 :)

I'm ready to try BW v4.6, but first I wanted to know my optios for going back to stock b391 (if something goes wrong, or if I would like to prepare for next OTA upgrades)
- Restoring my Nandroid backup of b391 (bacied-up before BW was installed)
- Flashing stock b391 Recovery (I can extract it from FullOTA-MF b391 by using Huawei UpdateExtractor PC tool)
- (In addition, paranoia step, rolling then back to b182 and let it upgrade to b383->b386->b391)

Is there any other way to go from BW 4.6 to the clean stock b391 firmware (just in case) - i.e., there is no (approved) FullOTA-MF-PV for b391, hence IMO b391 cannot be flashed from TWRP

The reason i wont ota update before next PV variant. Best method is flashing B386 MF-PV, then ota to next build, or wait for PV.

Do you mean that I could go back by TWRP to b386 PV ( from BW, just in case), although I'm going to BW from b391?

I'm puzzled because your BW installation overwrites almost all partitions (incl. Product, Version, Vendor), only OEMInfo and 3rdmodem remain intact. I don't know how much it matters what was installed before BW

You can flash B386 with dload or restore a twrp backup. With B391 i dont know whats possible then, but you should be able to restore any twrp backup, need only a fullwipe of actual BW or ML to flash.
