lack of development for this device

I wouldn't say development is lacking at all. But there will be more when people have decided on Xgames or Xtreme sports and voided their warranties.

I don't mean to pick on you specifically, but it always cracks me up to see critiques of tablets and the like when they mention appearance. Even CNet reviewers will write a paragraph or two about the product's appearance. Seriously?! It doesn't match your shoes, so you don't want to be seen using it?! How very superficially Apple of them.

same here you buy a tablet because it does that much more than the competition.

i consider myself lucky to not have dock issues. battery is ok for me too not great but similar to that of my old acer when using dock.

i think the current firmware on the dock is crap it doesn`t seem to sleep at all and for this reason the dock seems to discharge quickly.
quicker than before update, and pressing the off in software doesn`t actually turn it off.



apple imo looks like **** on a white brick anyway seriously outdated look ?? since when apple has sported practically the same look from day 1

ohh wow white or black with a silver lining.

it took them what 6 gens to change the look enough to not compare it to the original or i2.

The Dock only discharges when it is charging the tablet. When both dock and tablet are at 100%, the dock remains at 100% (or close to it, like 98%) until the tablet reaches below 70% (about). At that point the dock charges the tablet until the dock is depleted. So even if you shut down the tablet while its in the "dock recharge tablet mode" the dock will still continue to charge the tablet like it was plugged in. When you turn on the tablet the dock will be depleted and the tablet will have the extra charge that was transferred from the dock. The dock works from the power of the tablet. The dock is in "sleep mode" when the tablet is discharging from 100% to about 70%.

it doesnt matter the app you are using.

example and i tested it i went into ashphalt 8 and left it on the menu lowest brightness for 30 mins no dock

come back exit and batt says 94% charge and connect dock.
do the same for 30 mins and i am at (87% 98% dock)

so either the dock is draining power quicker or the firmware for the dock is ****

Ah, now I understand your problem. I'll have to test it out on my tablet to see if I get the same problem. I was referring to your post that said the dock drains quicker. I guess you must have meant your dock drains the tablet quicker.

I have to say compared to most other tablets out there I'm suprised that such a powerful tablet has so little development compared to the previous versions of this device.. Why is that?

1. Stock is quite good.
2. People are still under warranty
3. Tf101,300T,nexus7 not sure about previous 700. Passed warranty.
4. Just a matter of time.

Great device. Am quite happy with it.
