I don't know the answer to your exact issue, but I do know what you are referring to. When my home internet was down, I used my S7 as a hotspot. If my Chromecast was connected to my S7 WiFi, I could not cast from the S7 to the Chromecast.

i flashed my S7 verizon to U frimware. XAA CSC,4 file with odin.and everything work great.

I decided to try the latest U-firmware on my G930V. I had issues with previous G930U builds having SMS/MMS issues. I gave PL2 a shot yesterday and I've been really happy with it. The phone is very snappy and everything works as designed. Verizon visual voicemail can't be used, but it's not a huge deal. VoLTE works well. You can download My Verizon from the Play Store. I'd highly recommend this firmware compared to the previous builds. Make sure to enable the Verizon APN in APN settings after install.

I'd like to note that my phone is completely stock at this point, NOT ROOTED, so I didn't need to apply any fixes to make things work. You should be able to root without issue if that's your thing.

Downloading the firmware from Sammobile takes FOREVER, so I uploaded it to my AFH account to cut down on that download time for you guys.

will this firmware somehow remove the frp lock on a G930VVRU4BQG1? a friend recently bought an s7 from a place she visited just weeks ago and her first instinct back home is to reset it, not knowing the phone will ask for the former owner's google account for the phone to be usable. i hope i ask the right question, i'm a newbie.. thanks in advance..

I would suggest flashing the phone with the latest firmware, not this one, and use the full CSC file. I'll admit that I have very little experience with FRP lock. I triggered FRP one time, but flashing the full firmware with the full CSC cleared it for me.

I'm not sure what Russify means.

There's home CSC and your provider or u CSC. Flashing the CSC from u or provider is full. Home CSC doesn't wipe everything from the phone.

There's an issue of Android and TouchWiz in general for some things. App makers, Rom makers and Google have to put the translations in.

Confirmed G930U firmware does not work with Red Pocket Verizon MVNO. Same problem as other Verizon MVNOs = no cell signal.

Nope. Just download the latest. And flash through Odin. All good.
