As long as twrp does not require a pin when starting, this partition is encrypted. But why is there no prompt to enter a pin ?! This is really stupid! When I'm at home, I'll deal with it a little. Maybe I'll find something useful about it.

I still dont know why its not entering into either of those slots ( i am just guessing here) nad when i try to reboot into either slots(change slot) , i get the error /data/media cant be mounted.

Looks like twrp isnt opening the slot and asking me the pin.

I have a important work tomorrow.. i wish this thing could be solved tonight..

Also under fastboot , both bootloader version and baseband version are empty.

I am just telling it because you can or others can pin point the problem.

I've searched a little, but haven't found anything useful yet. Are you using the latest twrp?

Have you ever thought about bringing it back to life with the MSM tool?

First let me thank you for sticking with me for solving the issue and going to greater ends to find a solution. Thanks again.

SOLVED !!!!!
Its was fault on my side ..

Thanks to a kind heart on telegram who help me see it.

This is great news! I am really happy about that.
I know how it feels when the cell phone doesn't work. I was helped, or at least tried to. That's why I try to help whenever I can.
Best regards

Its just that we dont see things clear or fail to see crucial parts of the problem when we are in a hurry..
I usually create a folder and put all related files , which zip was used to upgrade .. i saw the OS file in root folder and missed a sub folder with upgrade date..

anyway your method worked wonderfully. I was in state where i was thinking it will go wrong because of encrypted partition.. since i always had issues in twrp where when changing slot it will fail to mount internal storage.

I updated Magisk and it bricked my OP. When I rebooted, I got stuck in FastBoot Mode. But the fastboot boot magisk_patched.img help. Now I phone work normally.

I cannot access twrp. Everyone writes about flashing twrp.zip.

I am a total layman. How to do it? How to flash twrp.zip.

What commands via adb?
fastboot flash recovery xxx.img
and then
fastboot boot xxx.img
and then
fastboot reboot ????

Or maybe this method helps:

Please help.

1) Fastbootmode:

fastboot boot recovery.img (BOOT not flash!!!!)

2) in TWRP:

flash twrp.zip
then reboot again directly in twrp
then flash magisk.zip
then wipe dalvik cache
then restart into the system

All is done!
Provit :)

What if step 1 doesn't work and gives the following error:

fastboot boot twrp.img
downloading 'boot.img'...
OKAY [ 1.609s]
booting...
FAILED (remote: Failed to load/authenticate boot image: Load Error)

Try the twrp.img which I made available for download above. This should work. Unfortunately I can't say anything about your twrp.img.

Thanks! I saw your posted files and tried both, official and unofficial twrp 3.4. They also don't boot and throw the same authenticate boot.img error in fastboot.
Any ideas what that error means and/or how to fix it?

Twrp --> flash your boot.img (with "payload dumper" it can be extracted from the full OTA update file)
Then flash twrp.zip, reboot in to twrp, flash magisk.zip (21.4 or 22), wipe dalvik cache
    Reboot and provit ;-)

    Ps: for magisk22, rename magisk22.apk to magisk22.zip

    Thanks, @ghost323 ! You're a lifesaver!

That is exactly the answer I was looking for, and my OP7P is operational again without any issues.

I'm bookmarking this page, and also putting some notes into my Android stuff for future reference ... Though, I hope I don't have to reference it again. :D
