Latest Verizon Oreo Update

I am on a Note 8 and the last OTA Oreo update patched the hotspot hack via bk package disabler. I am doing the sim card trick right now for my hotspot and it's been working like a charm. It is critical for me to keep this... does anyone know if the current update being pushed now patches that as well? If so, can I disable the system update notification?
