All those launchers suck. I am waiting for this: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gaborvida/chameleon-a-better-home-screen-for-your-android-ta

Chameleon

It is going to optimized for 1280x800 screens.
I think the "unobtanium galaxy launcher" will much better than this chameleon launcher. It will feature things that so don't exist yet that I cannot even contemplate fantasies about, is backwards compatible with Android 0.0 straight up to android Apple Pie, and permits time travel.

Seems like rubbish? I guess that happens when preferring a non-existing product over existing products...

For those using Lightning Launcher, how did you get it on your system? Google Market shows it as not compatible with my p6810. Same message with Zeam Launcher.

NVM, it did not download on rooted Stock; but just flashed Eclipse and it downloads fine.

I've P6810 international version. From play store it shows: (This app is compatible with your Samsung GT-P6800).btw, I searched google for lightning launcher and installed it. It is very fast but it is not optimized for tablet (icons are very small) so I switched back to Go Launcher HD.

I found HOLO Launcher very stable on my 6800. It is lightweight and fast. Give it a try. :)

It's really light and fast :) but honestly it's not really optimized for tablets (icons look small). Also it lacks so much features that are found in Go Launcher HD like locking home screen orientation and organizing apps into folders. ADW Ex is cool also but i hate that i cant organize the apps drawer into folders (don't like the catalog idea).

Because of its good reviews, I tried lightning launcher om my SGS 2 (my tablet is at home) and I'm surprised : you can't use folders organization with lightning ?
Perhaps, I did something wrong but I didn't find how to create folder..

Loving GO Launcher HD (first time I'd ever looked at it) - it really does make such a performance difference!

One dumb question - by default, the launcher puts some sort of widget that looks a lot like an icon tray/folder on the home screen with a red "Download" banner across it - and all it does is take you to the Play store...and the GO Launcher HD page (!).

What is this and what is it for? Is that all it does?

That's mean you have to download calendar and task manager widget for Go Launcher from Google Playstore.. I just throw task manager away. Using the calendar widget only from Go..

Anyone using this launcher have any problems with stock widgets (TouchWiz)?

When I add the Month widget, also the Accuweather widget, they don't seem to size properly. It's like in-between being too small or too big for the text. And if you size it too big it looks ugly, too small and it gets cut off. The Month one is particularly bad - the grid doesn't render properly and it looks like the last vertical line is missing.

When I use the same widgets in the TW launcher it's fine.

Can anyone verify that they are getting the same problem?
