I have been using Niagra Launcher for a month or so and it has been pretty great. It has a unique minimalist interface that actuallu works well. It does not allow for many customizations due to the minimalist nature, you can set custom icon packs and sizes along with a few other features.

I use a modified version of Android O pixel launcher in Android P. I just cant bear to double/long swipe to the app drawer or not being able to pull down notifications without reaching to the very top...

I love Niagara Launcher. The main developer, Peter, has an Essential Phone, and I think the design of the launcher really compliments the design of the phone. It's in early access, but it has a really good community. Development has been consistent. I typically just rock a straight Pixel aesthetic, but I've been using this launcher for months. Highly recommend!

I personally love Lawnchair V2. It's like the stock pixel launchers, but with quite a bit more customizations.

Used Nova for as long as I could remember. Then I came across CPL. Just like the name says, Customized Pixel Launcher. Tom of different options, similar to Lawnchair, in fact I almost....ALMOST switched to Lawnchair, but Lawnchair doesn't let your have a transparent Google search bar. CPL does. Only issue I ever run into is on custom ROMs running Pixel Launcher as the stock Launcher,it won't allow you to add the add-on for Google weather on built in at a glance and the Google discover feature but if you don't have Pixel Launcher then your fine. Tried going back to Nova and it's just not for me anymore. If Lawnchair would allow me to make the search bar transparent with just the "G" and microphone icons I'd make the switch. Ive been using Nate wrens transparent lines icon pack for YEARS now and take a VERY minimalist approach to my single home screen and app dock, and allow my wallpaper to serve as the source of color and design on screen so for now CPL fits that bill to a "T" give it a try!

Are you using some Alpha version? Cause on Play Store still on 1.2xxx
Lawnchair and Lawnchair V2 aren't the same launcher. They are by the same developers, but Lawnchair V2 is the actual name of the launcher. You can find it on XDA Labs or just by googling it and getting it off apkmirror.
