I tried ADW, too choppy for my taste. Looks good tho. If they can get it nice and smooth like LauncherPro, I'll use it.

ADW was just a little too laggy for me as well. Also tried Home++. Ended up back at LauncherPro.

Launcher pro is a great launcher, I love it. In defense of ADW Launcher though, you can tweak scrolling speed and get it very close if not AS fast as LP. I'm using it now and can't really notice a difference.

I agree, you've got to tweek ADW a little to get it smooth and fast. I've got it set to where the drawer is almost instant. So many options with it....hide the notifications bar, hide description under desktop icons, yep, I'm sold on it right now.

I do like LP though, these two are by far my favorites.
