Don't agree... Stock firmware using this values... So it's not useless, because it's depending of your usage (app/games - boost/no boost)

Look my screenshots, fortunally i don't have only 500 / 800 mhz like you when the most used frequency is 300.

So you can just keep other frequencies for others users ? Boost sched will do the same job for you, but i will tweak for my usage, not if they are not available at all
Woah, great stats bro.
Mind sharing the tweaks you did?

EeeWow. Of course with those settings. Why have device on!
I can see tens of choices to flash. Scheduler, boost, min freq's. Yes, also with many flavors....like ice cream, find your special one and Tadaa. I happened to pick custom2-exp-vX2. Amazing results. Now can learn the difference between the choices. Since it can take hours to see results on daily usage.
Thank you!!

The new PA build with the clock changes is bringing in lower idle power drain and better battery life but it feels like apps are taking a tad longer to execute and open. Could be just placebo but that is my experience so for.

X21 experimental yes 175 under clock works, as explained I do see the stepping up from 175.. I kinda think the old 300 was better for the first from deepsleep. My happiest was vX.2 !!! Way back a week ago. This is a excellent sense of the menu has 20 meals ...so how to answer which is best? Now the answer is "try them all" !!!! Thank you for your work, and all the builds. Nitrogen 10 rom.
Edit 1.. was on vX23. Not bad; stepping was better. When shifting freq. But.. dirty flashed from x23 to x24.
Edit 2 same no boot. xV26
..not good, maybe a fluke but no boot. TWRP restore ok tho. ymmv

Yes using original ROM build kernel was the correct way to get xV26 working. Thank You. Lazy is my work ethic, just used a TWRP from first backup.
Having mostly A/B devices, this device was different. I usually just Flash boot.img from zip of ROM is not the way to go (recovery partition location links broke?)... So being ...Lazy... just used the original twrp backup of first build run.

From x2 to x26 WOW, Dev Thanks again for the menu of choices :)

I had issues with Quartz X.11, I had 2 apps that freezed on me and had 2 random reboots in 48 hours. I also noticed performance is worse and apps taking a bit longer to start. I have reverted back to X.10 just to see if things goes back to normal, if it doesn't then probably something wrong with the rom.

Trying to run crDroid 10 with Lazy Kernel in F2FS and the only way to boot up the phone is if I have /cache in F2FS and /data in EXT4. If I put /data in F2FS, the phone bootloops. Do I need to patch something to get F2FS working properly?

Checkout the new non-LTO builds. Maybe they'll fix your boot problems.

If it still doesn't work, please go ping me in the support group. Thanks! ?

I finally bit the bullet and jumped on Telegram since pretty much everything in XDA is moving to that direction. I am posting here because confused as hell on how to search good information as I see all kind of off topic stuff on there.

Anyway, I see there has been a lot of changes since I last checked on the kernel builds. What is the difference between custom and custom2? I am running PA so not sure which one to flash.

Not anymore and that was the main reason I asked the question. I was able to find out which one to flash now. I just flashed the Lazy-oos-lto-vX.5, so I will be testing this one out to see how it goes.

UPDATE: One thing I noticed is this version stops the DTS:X Ultra 2.0 Magisk Module from working. I have tried different ways to try and get this to work but the APK fails to install for some reason. It was working fine before this flash and I was using Lazy-quartz-dev-vX.12.

UPDATE 2: I reverted back to Lazy-quartz-dev-vX.12 and DTS:X still not working. Chances are it is flaky with OP5/PA, a real pity since this was an awesome sound module.

UPDATE 3: Was able to get DTS:X working by uninstalling Magisk and re-installing it. So all good!
