I used Flashtool to download the German package (1281-4640) and created the FTF with Flashtool... A created FTF should have no flashing errors if flashed as-is....Where did your FTF on your computer NOW come from?

Same HereSucceeded!!! But I can't make system R/W, though I do as Step 12... Any ideas?
It shouldn't be a broken FTF... How about downloading another one from XperiFirm? Coz you can copy the direct link and paste it into a downloader like IDM. Maybe that makes your download faster and reliable, maybe...I used Flashtool to download the German package (1281-4640) and created the FTF with Flashtool.

Help! I do as Step 12 but I still can't get my system R/W. Any good ideas to solve it?Of course, I'll put this in the OP as an option.

Do you have root if you open SuperSU? Did you run the installer version of the dualrecovery, allowed it to have root rights when asked and completed successfully with the device rebooting?Succeeded!!! But I can't make system R/W, though I do as Step 12... Any ideas?
Try to download the ftf for your phone's original customization number/provider/region or do a repair update in Sony PC Companion.I get an error when flashing the FTF. The MUST be something wrong...
My 314 FTF is perfect. If I flash the 167 FTF, I get errors. If my FTF cant flash (unrooted), then my created ZIP will be broken as well...Try to download the ftf for your phone's original customization number/provider/region or do a repair update in Sony PC Companion.
So you'll need a good .167, the one you are trying to flash is obviously corrupt. My 314 FTF is perfect. If I flash the 167 FTF, I get errors.
Yes, that should work most of the time, but how did you get proper root without installing a ric killer? Did you install the recovery with the installer?6. Uncheck all the Include options [ ], we don't need them, we will flash them with Flashtool after the update. I think it's still safer to flash kernel, baseband, boot and other system critical parts of the firmware from Flashtool.
I just did the different way ... i selected all Include options in this step. Also added FTF downloaded and converted with Flashtool and SuperSU zip.
This way i was created prerooted rom. Flashed with recovery and without reboot flashed recovery.
This way.. all works - - sys - RW even Noise cancelling. Also this way you dont need to flash anything after with Flashtool.
When I opened SuperSU, nothing strange happened. I tried to run NextApp SDFix and SuperSU popped up a message of authorization. I confirmed it but SDFix said platform.xml file could not be updated. Seems that I have root but I can't mount /system R/W. And of course I ran the installer and gave ADBshell root rights, but it didn't work. The log said "mount: permission denied (are you root?)".Do you have root if you open SuperSU? Did you run the installer version of the dualrecovery, allowed it to have root rights when asked and completed successfully with the device rebooting?
yes i do have root. however, i noticed upon doing step 12, a few lines say 'cannot write to system'...Do you have root if you open SuperSU? Did you run the installer version of the dualrecovery, allowed it to have root rights when asked and completed successfully with the device rebooting?

So how to do it? Can you help me?Need to add the rom version in dual recovery otherwise ric killer does not work after phone starts.
If you install the dualrecovery via the PC installer, there is no need to add the version string in the script because it doesn't check it, that's why I put this last step in the process. But I'll check this again later today.Need to add the rom version in dual recovery otherwise ric killer does not work after phone starts.
