Are you getting the error when flashing z2 rom or when flashing the patch?

Try flash the attached recovery.

then flash Z2 rom
then flash patcher
When flashing the patch, rom worked fine.. will check with the recovery you posted now

Stuck on splash after flashing this recovery?

strange its dual recovery and stock bootimg.

did the error say error setting some permissions? because It does that for some reason but works anyways.

I wanna play around with this but im doing experiment on my phone, I have it in ultra power saving mode (I call it nokia mode :D) for three days now :D 5hrs screen time, 2 hours walkman and its been 3d 6h and im at 56%. Its actually really impressive , so yeah I wanna see this experiment thru before messing around with this stuff. If issues arent solved (and if I get issues when I use it ) then ill help debug as much as I can

Thank you for your great work and time,
but could you add an FAQ for most important questions?

1) whats about Z2 Kernels? Can I use them after patching the rom?
1. Boot Into Recovery
2. Flash the Z2 Rom of your choice
2b. Flash the Z2 Kernel of your choice
3. Flash any extra packages from the Rom(Updates, GAPPS)
4. Flash the Z2 to Z3 Rom Patcher >>> Reboot

2)whats about Z2 Roms with Z2 Kernels integrated? Do we need to install a Z3 Kernel after patching?

3) After patching can I install any Z3 Kernel?

4) Is the brick a full brick? Or an easy softbrick which you can undo by using flashtool?

No this does not patch the z2 kernel. It replaces the kernel with stock.

You can flash a Z3 Kernel after applying the patch.

Just installed Envi ROM+ and it works flawlessly using the patcher. I did get the Error 7 but ignored and has no issues. Its a nice decent ROM that removes all bloat and is very light. Great patch. Thanks a lot
