I got it boot successfully, but there's no cellular signal, lol. Is it the rom specific that is missing for z3 dual or the patch is missing something?Don't flash the rom specific changes that's for the d6603.
I understand, do the best you can, thanks, I can always test it.No system ui is a rom specific change to the build.prop. I will update it when I can get to a computer. I am not sure about the settings apk. I can include the stock settings but sometimes roms make changes to the settings apk (like moonwalker) then it won't be a full port. There may be a way to patch it but I don't have the device so it's a little bit difficult for me to see what needs to be patched.
Soft brick is likely.Any idea if this would work on the Z3 compact?
Would hard brick be likely?

Yes I think the opposite is possible. But again I am limited to making a theoretical patch because I don't have the device.. I am busy in the process of making a working update script because mine does not set correct permission. Once that is fixed I will begin working on the patch for lollipop Z3. Once I have tested I will then start working on Z3 Compact, Z3 dual and Z2. But project is on hold till I can get my update script to work.Beautiful project man. kudos.
Do you think the opposite is possible? ( Patching a Z3 rom for Z2 devices)

Soft brick is likely.
One I have some lollipop Roms to test. I will try release a lollipop version for the compact aswell.
All I got was a soft brick. Perhaps it could would with an unlocked bootloader? The rom did flash to the phone because flashtool thought it was 66xx and the Z3C is a 5833 so I had to install drivers for both to reflash it back to stock then restore it back as it was before I triedSoft brick is likely.

No there is a kernel patch that I have no idea on how to port. If someone can port the kernel then in theory it should work. Can we install miui v5 based on xperia z2 stock firmware 4.4.4 by using this z2 to z3 Rom Patcher.. As the miui from z2 is Based on official sctock firmware.167.
