GREAT!!!AMAZING!!!!In this rom it's totally working??
how to flash it??
THANX

I don't own an A100 so i can't test. At least the A500 version is working well, so there's no reasons this one does not work.

To flash it, put the zip file on your external_sd, then rename the file to update.zip, and finally reboot in recovery. The flash process will automatically be launch.

1. Rename the provided file to update.zip
2. Copy the file to the root of your external sd card
3. Turn off the device; and press power while holding the volume up button - don't touch anything until the device reboots itself
4. Voila - you've got ics
From what I can see this is a fully working rom - unfortunately you'll lose the root access

Downloading this now, great work Vache! I love time-travel, this morning I woke up in Febuary and XDA has taken me to Mid-April, incredible :)

Will report back on how it goes.

I, too, have installed root keeper and activated root protection. I'm going to do a reboot with root keeper enabled before I reboot to flash update.zip. I've also disabled any programs/scripts that run at boot and/or requiring root to see if this might help at all.

EDIT: ICS Update applies fine, seems pretty stock, doesn't have any of the ring stuff Acer said is coming. Google Chrome from the Market works fine accept for crashing when opening the Settings menu. Root, however did not stick.

Let me know if rootkeeper kept your root, for extra precaution I copied my su-backup to a few places, including /etc and renamed it as well

    From what i have understood...

    1) There still isn't a way for downgrade to HC once you update to ICS, right?

    2) If I updated to ICS with this leak ROM, and when Acer releases the official ICS 4.0.3 later on, will I be able to update to Acer's ICS?

    3) Is this ROM for all international users? (including international languages...)

    Thanks in advance!

Yes you can downgrade. To downgrade from ics to hc. Download this rom. This rom Can be updated to the new hc 3.2.1. http://vache-android.com/v1/download.php?fileID=109. This YouTube vid is to show you how to do a hard reset for a500 and a100. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_k9HYj93zHc&feature=youtube_gdata_player first update your tablet to hc. Than when it done shut off your tablet and do the hard reset to get hc to work

QUOTE=crossix;22970185]I was able to go back to HC from ICS by dd'ing the recovery and boot partitions from my signature then flashing http://vache-android.com/v1/download.php?fileID=109 then doing a hard reset. My guess is that it doesnt wipe cache /restore dalvik so a hard reset is necessary. To hard reset press and hold the right volume button then press the power button. When the acer logo appears flip the screen lock switch back and forth a few times and the green android should show and wipe out /data /cache and dalvik.[/QUOTE]

Thank to peporras and crossix for finding how to get hc again
