Every time I flash with mobile Odin, I get random SoD's. I've also flashed a few times with full desktop Odin and haven't had a single SoD.

Not sure if it just coincidince or what, but the phone seems a lot more solid with a normal Odin flash.

I also flashed mine through desktop odin. No SOD and FC after flashing ZCLP1 modem over. Was having problems when modem was xxlp1

Also for people who are afraid of flashing through desktop odin cos of the yellow triangle, u can just remove it using triangle away app. No need for a jig with ics. For now that is till Sammy breaks it.

I do not understand that you all flash with odin. Just flash with cwm app. Make firmware folder on sd and put there the files.

I aways flash new firmware like that. But before i flash it i put root kernel in the folder. So you have root after flash.

Because it's easier to use desktop Odin after forum browsing and downloading the latest releases... Having to copy firmware/roms to the phone to flash first is just unnecessary.

Ok piont, but odin got nany flashers in trouble. And with cwm extracted zimage and replace it with root kernel i need to do only one flash and finished.

Guys I used Rom Toolbox pro to change the DPI from 320 to 280

It looks awesome this if my first time i did this so i really did not know how good it looks up till just now..

Anyways all is working great only thing is the dial pad which is looks like the screen shot below

IS there anyway i can make it normal i mean if you see the screen shot below the numbers the 4 icons which are "call", "video call" "message" etc are cropped so is there any way to make them look un cropped ?? or is there any way to have the dialer full screen as it comes for 320 dpi???

Anyone got this rom working in tablet mode at 213dpi or below? I get bot loops below 213. 240 works fine.

2316 pages already?

Just read first post ! Very nice compilation...thanks !

Let me read the last 3 pages first, before I flash anything

All related files are already downloaded though :)

Just read the last 4 pages....

Nah...my beta tester carrier is over....my GNote is too smooth right now, to goleaking on a leaked buggy stuff :)

Just for the curiosity:
- ADW Launcher is not compatible?
- Is anybody running ICS smoothly on the GNote with no more than 3 issues?

Thanks

.

Believe me, I have tried custom ROMs, but none of them actually made ADW EX smooth. I hate TouchWiz, and I want scrolling widgets. I did poke around during the weekend at other custom ROMs, but nope. Nothing made ADW EX smooth.

Just before I leave:

I use only ADW Ex and its been always super-smooth on CriskeloNOTE roms running speedmod or FM kernels..

And if remember well, it was also smooth on stock KKA running CF Root, but not sure cause it was a long time ago...

I think the problems you faced are more user-related than firmware-related...

seems good to me.. Nova launcher is purer ICS than adw ex on this, but adw was working for me when I tried it..
Most other things seem to be down to the usual user error (except the SOD, which seems to be down to the baseband)

Nah, I am pretty sure it's not a user related issue. I know ADW's limitation, and unfortunately ADW can't handle a lot of scrolling widgets.

Which file did you flash? The repack from Chainfire or the non-modified one?

Didn't get any reply so tried 213dpi myself. With rom toolbox get lots of FC's and bootloop. Changing it through build.prop manually, fc a couple of times, then tells me system.ui crashed. After that it runs, but i have no notification bar.
