Hrmm it seems like the lower the battery %, the more often it SODs. Strange.
Only increase scores on benchmark?
Will it improve overall performance and responsive?![]()
Every time I flash with mobile Odin, I get random SoD's. I've also flashed a few times with full desktop Odin and haven't had a single SoD.
Not sure if it just coincidince or what, but the phone seems a lot more solid with a normal Odin flash.

Because it's easier to use desktop Odin after forum browsing and downloading the latest releases... Having to copy firmware/roms to the phone to flash first is just unnecessary.

Guys I used Rom Toolbox pro to change the DPI from 320 to 280
It looks awesome this if my first time i did this so i really did not know how good it looks up till just now..
Anyways all is working great only thing is the dial pad which is looks like the screen shot below
IS there anyway i can make it normal i mean if you see the screen shot below the numbers the 4 icons which are "call", "video call" "message" etc are cropped so is there any way to make them look un cropped ?? or is there any way to have the dialer full screen as it comes for 320 dpi???

Sorry if this is already addressed ...
Believe me, I have tried custom ROMs, but none of them actually made ADW EX smooth. I hate TouchWiz, and I want scrolling widgets. I did poke around during the weekend at other custom ROMs, but nope. Nothing made ADW EX smooth.
2316 pages already?
Just read first post ! Very nice compilation...thanks !
Let me read the last 3 pages first, before I flash anything
All related files are already downloaded though

Just read the last 4 pages....
Nah...my beta tester carrier is over....my GNote is too smooth right now, to goleaking on a leaked buggy stuff
Just for the curiosity:
- ADW Launcher is not compatible?
- Is anybody running ICS smoothly on the GNote with no more than 3 issues?

Just before I leave:
I use only ADW Ex and its been always super-smooth on CriskeloNOTE roms running speedmod or FM kernels..
And if remember well, it was also smooth on stock KKA running CF Root, but not sure cause it was a long time ago...
I think the problems you faced are more user-related than firmware-related...

This is a repack of the entire ROM:
http://www.mirorii.com/fichier/3/501208/I9220LP1-N7000-ICS-REPACK-tar.html, CF-Root (includes root and CWM5), no bootloaders, wipe
Just point ODIN or Mobile ODIN at the .tar file after download
NOTE: If flashed with ODIN your flash count will increase and the triangle will appear. Use TriangleAway to remove it.
…
You can flash 2 differents files:
A) original leak - Full Wipe - NO SU - NO CWM
B) REPACK - Full Wipe - SU - CWM
If you use Mobil-Odin in android and choose the tar file, nothing else to change just flash.
If you use Odin for PC to flash A) or B) YOU WILL HAVE TO DO E) TO RESET COUNTER & REMOVE YELLOW TRIANGLE
If you flash A) THEN YOU HAVE TO DO C) & D) & E) ELSE SKIP TO G)
C) Gain - SU & CWM by flashing CF-Root-I9220_ZC_OZH_LP1-v5.2-CWM5.zip
http://download.chainfire.eu/146/CF-Root/SGN/CF-Root-I9220_ZC_OZH_LP1-v5.2-CWM5.zip TX TO ChainFIRE
With Odin for PC select PDA and point to the tar.
D) Put phone in Download Mode - shutdown the phone - VOLUME DOWN + HOME BUTTON + POWER then confirm by volume up then connect usb cable and if recognize OK press start
E) If you flashed anythings with ODIN for PC your flash count will increase and the triangle will appear. like in step C) Use TriangleAway to remove it.

G) Gapps - Download Gapps V7.1: http://tux-head.net/pawitp/gappsv7.1.zip and flash in CWM
H) Enjoy & Hit the thanks button
OPTIONAL ONLY IF PROBLEM WITH SOME GAPPS
I) Flash Gapps fix: http://tux-head.net/pawitp/gapps_fixer.zip
…
So a quick summary of that ics:
- max CPU speed 1.2 Ghz instead of 1.4
- you can add google apps v7.1 everythings works OK - gmail, market
- Camera, Wifi Faceunlock su all OK
- seems super fast
- browser so so fast
And even if you, like me flash the original leak with mobile odin, then flash only the CF-root 5.2 for it via Odin and get the yellow Triangle and counter increase, you can then reset it via TriangleAway-v1.10.apk.
So All good for now
