[LEAK][Updated][Working] Facebook Home

Hi Guys,

Just found out that there is a leak for the Facebook home application.

It is working on our GS3s as well.

Update:

1. Install Facebook and Facebook Messenger normally from play store
2. Go to this post and download the Facebook Home apk
3. Use any file manager to navigate to the downloaded app
4. Install (Have "install from unknown sources" checked under security)

If you are facing problems in getting it to work try this

How to install:
1. Unzip attached file
2. Move the 3 applications to your phone
3. Uninstall Facebook and Messenger apps
4. Install the 3 apps normally 1 by 1.

There you are done.

Bugs:
Message heads are not working.

Thanks for the share. Works pretty well except the Camera but I gues it is Paranoid's fault

Edit: and it overrights the default lockscreen even if the default launcher is not Facebook Home

I'll check it out, just to see what it's like, the chances of me using it on the 12th (when it's officially out) are slim to none though.

Hmm nothing from my feed is coming to my homescreen, even when I tell it to check every 2 mins.

It starts downloading until 65% and it then says download unsuccessful. Help please?

No effect, after wiping Facebook data and logging in again, I have also tried reinstalling Facebook Home and wiping cache from them both with no effect. This is what I get on the home screen:

Try this..uninstall everything related to facebook..
Reboot..
Then install the 3 apps..
See if this works..
It is working for me..

No effect, still the same, what rom are you on? could the problem be with CM?

I am using edgarf28's xperianze rom.. We will need a confirmation from another CM user to pinpoint that..

I am on omega 4.2.1.. even I am unable to get the feeds.. tried wiping everything from titanium backup.. and reinstalled it couple of times. Still no gain. Tried restarting the device.. enabled auto sync.. nothing works.

Edit... Just read in another thread that Facebook may have blocked the app...

My feeds were coming through fine at first then syopped so you may be right about facebook blocking it.

One thing I noticed, its a pain in the rear to make a call or message, cant do it off home, have to go to apps. Have they forgot this is still a phone or am I missing something!!
