For me it would be great if the + icon would do as you describe, it would be perfect it that would be possible. Thx for the suggestion!!@Hahahalalala: You need to convert to PDF first. What do you wish to spell-check? Your handwritten notes?
@Chinaboy5216: You can reduce three clicks to a long-click on the hand icon (which activates hand mode and displays the menu simultaneously, works on the other mode icons as well) and a second click on the item. Would it help to have an option so that the `+´ icon appends a page and does not get you there? Or do you need both functions?
@philam1: Many thanks for your kind comments.
To copy one or more pages from one notebook to another, open the source notebook in notebook overview (either directly from the notebooks board by long-clicking on the notebook and selecting `Notebook overview´ in the popup menu, or by opening the notebook normally and selecting `Notebook overview´ in the main menu), click on the tag to activate tag mode and on the pages to be copied to tag them, and select `Copy tagged pages to clipboard´ in the main menu. Close the source notebook and open the target notebook in notebook overview and select `Paste pages from clipboard´ in the main menu. To rearrange pages, click-and-drag them to the desired location.
@Kumabjorn: That a soft keyboard does not up automatically is intentionally, it comes up when you click on the page.
Thanks a lot, for me personally this is a big improvement. What a dev!!!!@Chinaboy5216: I just uploaded v2.3.9 into the app stores which has an option to disable scrolling to the page appended using the `+´ icon. It might take a moment until the new version is available.
Why don't you copy or even better save your files on your tf card? My file are all on the external card. Backup is very easy like that. Pop it out of the tablet and trough a card reader just save to a folder on your laptop or desktop. Is there a way to do an incremental backup once a full backup is complete? My notebook board is fairly large by now because I use LN almost daily. So it takes quite some time each time I backup my files, and yet many of the old notes haven't changed. In fact some of the notebooks probably won't be opened again since those projects are completed.
If this feature is already available and I'm just not realizing it, I apologize.
Thanks again for a wonderful app.
I wish to spellcheck my typed notes.@Hahahalalala: You need to convert to PDF first. What do you wish to spell-check? Your handwritten notes?

@werpnst8: To do incremental backup isn't that complicated, what is complicated is to restore from that. As a compromise between backup file size and complexity, one could do the incremental steps on whole notebooks, not on single files (i.e., include every file of a notebook if it has been `toiuched´).
I agree with other comments that incremental backup is better done via syncing.
@acadoid, thank you. I've done as suggested and moved the notebooks to my external sd card so I can use my file sync program (freefilesync) to sync all files to my pc regularly.
I simply could not figure out how to work the position controlled version. I see that when I move along the input area to the right a blue box appears on the left side of the input area. If I reach back to touch the new blue area the focus skips ahead but there is now a mark where I touched the blue area. I don't think this is how it should work but haven't figured it out.@dlorpatt: LectureNotes' input zone comes with two methods of auto-movementl, timer-induced and position-controlled.
You referred to `metro´ as an example, is that an Android app?
I should've said something like this first. I am also dont know how the position control works, though i tried. Also, the button around input zone is more of an obstacle than convenient (maybe just me). Thanks dev team.I simply could not figure out how to work the position controlled version. BTW: Typo alert: LN popped up on my screen asking me if it was, "Driving me cracy". I think you mean crazy, and, no, it is a very nice program.
Well, I have a 3 hour lecture based night class. The professor talks the ENTIRE time. It usually only happens there! It is very annoying, anyway to fix it?@werpnst8: To do incremental backup isn't that complicated, what is complicated is to restore from that. @Hahahalalala: How much is `a lot of notes´? Of course, CPU time scales with text amount on a page, but this increase should not be noticeable.
