all color settings are completely the same but compared to flash there are things missing
My phone was manufactured in August. Dammit...Probably all phones, that manufacted after July or August...

I have LineageOS Unofficial (10/29 build) and with this command I can see the LED blinking purple and green (after I locked the phone), there is no way to change white LED notification though, every color I choose in settings end up in white LED notification

This mobile need specific acess to change led in kernel, but developers in MIUI cant give acess to curer santoni kernel
You should try Tasker for RGB LED.
I think you can find some methods with Tasker at this forum.
But kernel controling led and led setting blinking only white
In DotOS LED color selection for notifications works (not every color works but at least you can choose anything different than white)

I have only see Cyan, Yellow (selecting a green color) and red indeed, the command to check colors works for you??
I got two MAG138 here both on Xiaomi.eu latest Dev/Beta 7.11.16. One (the old one) is capable of multi color led, one (the new one) isnt.
The only difference i´ve seen is the Display - both EBBG but the newer one is called EBBGDJN.
Also the PCBA SN is different so i guess its a different board. (new VL...Y....... ; old .....F........ - the Dots are Numbers)
You can check it in engineering mode *#*#66#*#*
They also differ from the imprint on the back. Old is clearly readable the new one is almost invinsible.
Old came with EU plug, new one with UK.

Are you using MIUI? the code doesn't work for me on DotOS which I think support pure Android codes
