btw, do you have any proof on that? I would still belive that they just used another white-only led unit.

Since xiaomi it's..... well xiaomi, they usually change some parts of the phone in later production ones like ours, in redmi 4x the fingerprint reader and screen type was changed. So I really doubt that they have changed the rgb led for a white one in this device, maybe this led board that they have changed uses a diferent driver or a custom aw2013 driver, I really don't know what they did that's why i'm searching for it.

In vain! Not working !
Notification light has a problem on Redmi 4X!
From what I read on the net, should be specified for other users trying to fix this shortcoming, "The Phones manufactured after moon May 2017 no longer have multicolored leds "!
I downloaded from Xiaomi.eu, the ROM that included these settings in the software (xiaomi.eu_multi_HM4X_7.9.21_v9-7.1)!
In vain! Just white light is on! My phone is manufactured in 11.2017 (written on the box the date of manufacture).
