Probably nfc interference... The case works fine here. Except the above complaints. Try testing it on someone's else's phone. And try your nfc with another phone as well. If both works fine its a software problem. Hard reset!
hey guys.. i've performed hard reset and/or factory reset more than 3 times on my s7 edge.. the issue still persist and led flip case unable to function properly..:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Exactly same problem on mine, please if you find a solution tell us.
Hey guys.. I just found out that the wireless charger might have something to do with the unresponsive LED flip case. I wireless charge my s7 edge without the LED flip case attached on it, right after I performed factory reset on last night. The next day morning when I put the LED flip case back to my s7 edge, I realized the LED flip case works perfectly fine without any unresponsive issue to occur.

Does the wireless charger really interfere with the NFC connection when fast charging s7 edge with LED flip case attached on it? Can somebody to give us feedback after you guys have tried this method?

Thank You.

Samsung say that the led flip case may not function correctly when using the wireless charger but it shouldn't cause a problem when it's off the charger

well.. the LED flip case is not working again when I turn on my s7 edge this morning.. the problem is still exist and should have nothing to do with the wireless charger.. so meaning now is the phone's problems? I took my s7 edge to the retailer shop to check the sensor settings on my phone, and nothing is wrong with the settings.. :(

When i went to a samsung store to buy the led flip case, the first one i used had an issue like yours so we cracked open another case and tried it on and the 2nd one works like a charm and as a matter of fact no issues until now.

My previous experiences tell me that the sensor itself is faulty on the case. Go to your nearest samsung store and try a new led flip case. See if the issue is still there on a new case.
I have tried it with another s7 edge, flip it open and closed for many times, and it works perfectly fine without any delayed. The LED is not working properly only when I put back the LED flip case to my own s7 edge.

LED cover problem

Have the same problem. try the case with other S7 edge phone at samsung booth chatswood, works fine. Not working on my s7 edge though. Samsung guys at chatswood worked hard to troubleshoot, however not sure whats the problem. asked me to get replacement from Optus. However NFC is fine using Commbank tap and pay.

Interestingly, when i put the case on a metal surface (on my iron board), it works well every time. When i remove the case and try to put it back on different surface, its not working again. try it!

I've given up..changed to normal samsung flip cover WITHOUT led and works like charm.
I'm a happy person now without the LED case.

Just return the LED case, not worth your time to chase things up.
Please fix it Samsung. Thanks.

I'm using regular S7, but also having issues with LED view cover. Kind of strange nature. So, clock notification is working perfect every time I'm closing or pressing power button (with clossed cover) and... that's all. No other notifications: plugin charger, getting calls, messages. Only when I have unasnwered calls it shows up. BTW, I'm using Samsung apps not third party. Any clue, please?

Have you switched on NFC on your phone initially when putting the case on? I think you need to so it pair's correctly then you can switch the NFC off

Yeah, I have NFC turned on all time, so there is no issue. But... today I solved this problem, so everybody having issues with this cover may try this. I went to Samsung service point and the cover itself was fine - worked with another phone. So they flashed firmware and... it worked! I just needed setup again all things. And then... cover stopped working again (only time notification as previously showed up). So I checked what I installed and the reason was... Samsung Good Lock lockscreen. Without everything is fine! Now, I'm hesitating either have almost pure Android look or fancy cover look :p BTW, Samsung should do something with this.

According to one of the heads of Samsung mobile product management who I was talking to today, they're aware of the issues with the LED case (the guy was using one himself). The problems occur because "the accessories team don't talk to the handset team" and an update is being worked on to fix all shortcomings.

Unfortunately the issue with the clear view case deactivating the always on display can't be fixed, apparently.

Yesterday i have received the update to 6.01 (g935fxxu1apd1) . Till this update my LED case worked fine, but after updating the SW i can't accept/decline the calls with swiping my case (also turning off the allarm clock is impossible). Anybody has the same experience/problem and is there any solution? (i have already tried to turn off the NFC and to reconnect the case - didn't help)

Problem solve for me

I have been having issue with LED flip cover as well. Through searching internet someone has posted that the LED work fine when the flip cover is on metal surface. So I try put the led flip cover on my ipad front and back, it seems to fine on the front (screen side better). I assume that it need something to bounce or block signal on some particular area of the phone back side.

I end up using kitchen type aluminum foil approx. 1" width and lenght equal to the width of my S7 edge place just below the camera between the glass back and flip cover. With this aluminum foil everything work perfect. Led always show when close the flip, swipe work when phone ring or alarm on everytime, press power switch always turn on led now.

Note that since I do not have wireless charger nor using NFC, interference to these two functions is unknown.

Just happy that now my LED works everytime instead of sometime. Hope this help some of you who may encounter and have been annoying with this LED flip cover from Samsung.

My cover seems to have also stopped working recently. I believe it stopped around the time of the new update released to BTU. Was fine until then :(

Im sure the latest update has caused this to stop. Anything I can do to get it back to work or restore my phone to before the update?
