@4-2ndtwin: Will do. I was just reading about doing that in the Legend thread. If it doesn't work, I'll do a full wipe flash of stock KK4 and see where it puts me. I might roll back to Corn 6.03 just to see what happens.
@Robm1911: I'm still on i897 bootloaders. I never flashed over to the i9000 bootloaders when I flashed Mosiac IX. Worked fine, other than the charging bug. I actually thought the charging bug had worked itself out due to using the i897 boots, but, after a few days, the GB charging bug reared its ugly head. :-\
Last week, I uninstalled my Audiogalaxy app (one of the first apps I install whenever I flash), and a lot of the bugginess has gone away. I'm beginning to wonder if the AG app doesn't jive with Corn 7.06 or its tweaks, because installing it messes with the screen timeouts while music is playing, even though the setting to do that is disabled in AG. Here's what I've noticed:
Upon initial install of the Audiogalaxy app, playing music via the app will disable the screen timeout. Manually locking the screen results in the screen waking up every time the next song in the playlist begins. The screen won't turn off when that happens unless the lock button is pressed again. HOWEVER, after a few days, all of those issues disappear, and the phone becomes slow, buggy, and generally unstable over some time, generally a day or so. Upon rebooting, the phone works like it should, but given some use, the problems come back within a day.
I've looked it up online and in the reviews, and no one reports these problems, which is why I'm beginning to wonder if it has something to do with the way Corn 7.06 works with Audiogalaxy, or if some of the tweaks (leftover or not) are mucking things up. Most people who use AG probably aren't running Corn 7.06, and most people running Corn 7.06 probably don't use AG, so if this IS what's going on, it would make sense that it isn't really reported. I could be wrong, but I'm just throwing the idea out here based on my own experiences. I didn't have any issues with AG when I was on Mosiac or Serendipity. Since this flash of Legend 5, I haven't enabled any tweaks other than the overclock, but I'll try deleting the "cwm5sc" folder and reinstalling the app, then get back to you guys.
Update: I deleted the "cwm5c" folder and reinstalled AG. No screen timeout issues, etc. so far. Disabled BLN, and enabled OC. Seeing how it goes for the next couple days.
