Just did it. works great. Nice and simple to do.

Not sure if it was the best idea considering fake-flash did the job for me and was much safer for someone who needs nothing more, but it's done without a brick. I hate the boot image so will be changing that.

EDIT: does anyone have a stock legend splash1.img?

EDIT2: got it, had to use a gif from a custom rom and then convert it then flash using fastboot.

Step 2-> Press enter after reading the message. The script will instruct you when to press FASTBOOT, and only then.
-Yeah I did that, tried more than 10 times:
Pressed any button to start the programm...

Then it appears a "------>" and after a few seconds "...press power...." and only then I press and HOLD the power button. But my Legend reboots The script is doing nothing else.... Still standing: ..."press power"...

I burned the ISO, but nothing got better.... The script is still standing on the same Step (2)... It´s not my VMWARE... Step 1 got successfully... Recognized my LEGEND and BOOTLAODER 0.000043

The phone will then boot normally into android (the script will show that it's waiting for bootup)

After pressing FASTBOOT (only after you've pressed enter to let the process continue, obviously)
-Not at me... When I press Power before the "pess power text" appears, my phone will reboot, but then nothing will happen...

No manual intervention should be necessary. The phone is suppsoed to reboot by itself.
-But when I wait more than 10min... I rebootet manually and the script contiuned, as I arrived Bootloader, so the phone rebooted again

Are you 100% sure you've passed through the USB connection (every reboot!!!) to whatever VM you're running?
- Yeah I think so, its automatically connected again, in VMWARE its connected again after reboot....

Tried it also with ISO on real PC...

I think it´s not VMWARE, another guy here, with bootloader 0.43.0001 has the same problem. :-/

PS: Deactivated antivir also firewall....

I had the same problem as you, but it ran smoothly the second try. I did verify that the HBOOT-menu was actually working by navigating the menu-options with VOL-UP/VOL-DOWN before pressing enter and starting the actual fastboot procedure at step 2, so maybe that was the problem, who knows ;)

tried waiting for the Hboot menu to repsond, tried not to wait for it, tried to connect my phone when booting from the CD,...

Any idea's?

No luck either, when tried to press power to fastboot the phone just doesn't respond :(

EDIT: Ok nvm I think I got the trick to have it flash, I just got mine to flash with S-OFF

after pressing any key on the keyboard and the --------> pops up just HOLD ON to the power button until the phone restarts, well that wasn't so hard :)

After succesfully flashing my HBOOT version was 1.00.0000, before the flash I had 0.43.0001.

Okay, also did in Recovery now:

wipe data/factory rest
wipe cache

But didn´t help

The problem is:
I press in step 2 the power button (when i have to), for a quick moment, it appears fastboot, after that my phone reboots, till now, everything is like the alpharev says...

But then, the ISO-Script isn´t going on, even when my phone is booted up again...
Last thing:

"Press FASTBOOT on your phone NOW <----------"

Hboot 1.00 or 1.01 or 1.xxx doesn+t work.
U have to wait, till Alpharev gets an update or perhaps there ll be a option to downgrade, but not yet for Legend... Sorry
Feels like I've falling off the train.
Choo-choo, bye-bye. All are gone behind the horizon. Damn HBOOT 1.01.

Success:D
If your phone doesn't respond when you must get it into fastboot - give it another try and start tapping power button right after you confirmed that you "have your phone in your hands, etc". It seems like there is very small time window to do it, so doing so definitely helps.
Yay, almost shat my pants due to happiness:D
