Lenovo K5 Note Nougat/Oreo developments?

We Lenovo K5 Note users are stuck with Marshmallow in the age of Oreo.

Anyone out there working on a Lineage 14.1 or 15 projects or any other AOSP-like projects to bring Nougat or Oreo to this poor phone?
