There's also an issue with the software buttons when hidden, the area they used to occupy cannot be used when hidden. Very noticeable with the keyboard, missing space bar etc.
Quite noticeable and annoying bug because being able to hide the buttons was definitely a selling point for me, next to the massive battery.

I don't have this problem , can see spacebar and other keys and able to use them too . I read someone else had the same problem , don't know what causes it

ive only had it a day but heres what ive noticed:

-screen seems to have a slight yellow tinge, this may just be because im coming from a different display tech though
-tap to wake is very hit and miss, more often than not it doesnt work

thats all so far really but i guess we will see how it fares as time goes on

yeah Tap to wake works when it feels like it . Someone said it was the fault of the screen protector but i think its just not working properly

I can see everything just fine, there's an invisible overlay the size of the soft buttons

Got this phone today. No interference at all when using my headphones in 3,5mm jack (Sennheiser Momentum 2). I do notice the audio out of sync though.

Anyone else having issue with Google Camera when trying to take an HDR shot? I had this issue on the s048 UK ROM, now on the 20171117 ROW ROM too.

What ever the camera app is HDR is not working as it has to...

Only default Camera uses HDR that too adjusting Constrast level after the image is taken by processing the image..

i am sure that HDR processing done by the DefaultCamera is WORSE..

Apps i have tested :
1) Camera fv5 - No HDR as i can see
2) Footej - HDR enabled gave app an ERROR.
3) Asus Pixel master ( apk mirror) - with HDR - in this app, i dont even see HDR doing its function, it resulted in Equally same images.
4) Open camera - HDR mode - This is giving exact images as StockCamera app

i will shortly list our Stockcamera features, what it does best and what it does worst so that people wont get confused..

please correct me if i am wrong at anything :highfive:

I asked on lenovo forum about lag and told them to stop lying about it :laugh:

And camera fv5 is pretty good , but you have to but separate app to record video and sound still sound bad

while i dont use it regularly i have tested it out and i had no real issues with audio, ive used both bluetooth and cabled headphones for spotify streaming and flac tracks up to 24/96, although i did notice some slight crackling when i first connected the cable i just reconnected it and the sound was clean (my headphones use a viablue 3.5mm connector) a little off topic but quality wise id say the audio isnt great, the top end is soft and the bass while full sounds a little sludgy, but im an audio snob, its probably more than good enough for most people and im just overly used to the sound of my FiiO.

after nearly a week the only persistent bugs ive found are the one where email notifications dont always come in when the screen is off, the unreliable double tap to wake and although ive only reset it once i did notice that the battery life timer reset at restart rather than remembering it hadnt been connected in 8 hours, hopefully theyll tighten those up in the N release though its not like theyre major issues and they certainly dont put a dent in an otherwise very impressive device.

I did get used to updates of software not OS only on Windows devices, but now little worry about moving them forware to unknown future
It is an monster, my wife love it but she makes lots of shoots and clips due to her blog :/

Thought I would add a reply to help others. I laboured over whether to buy because of reported audio issues. I'm not an audiophile but I like good sound and notice annoying audio quirks. Once noticed they cannot be ignored!

In the end I though I would chance it. Bought from three UK online. Had it two days.

So far so good. Screen is sensitive. 'sensitive touch' which allows use with gloves is excellent, allows ghost finger which is good for basic things if dirty hands. Works fine.

Tap to wake, not had any glitches so far. Works as expected.

Sensitive touch does switch off when charging and not reenable automatically which is annoying.

Camera is quick, and functional. Image viewing has issues as described. The camera is average compared to any other mid to high flagships. It works but can't replace a proper camera for holiday snaps. With an 7s I could leave my camera at home. But it costs 300% as much!

Now audio. There is a noise. It is antenna interference when headphones attached. In my phone it is extremely minor. With even V low-moderate volume it is inaudible. With volume at 0 you can hear it.
The volume varies with headphone impedance, which makes sense. Clearly the WiFi and Bluetooth are inducing a current in the signal path, post amplification. Higher impedance, more current, relatively quieter interference. I tried with two iem Sony's. Ex71 and ex650. Both, with phone on 1 volume, interference is no issue (if listening to Chopin, or V quiet music u can hear it). With Dennis hd25 70ohm. The interference is less noticeable but, the phone struggles to drive the headphones as well, so it's swings and roundabouts abouts.

If I switch off Bluetooth, there is an improvement. If I switch if WiFi the interference goes away altogether. So it is the WiFi and Bluetooth antenna's causing it.

I suspect it could be a minor ground look, due to the ground pole of the headphone jack, touching the phone body. I'm unsure if the top section of phone is part of antenna array? If so, a tiny insulator on base of headphone jack may help, if it doesn't interfere with the fit of the jack.

The YouTube app does have a jitter and delay. All other video playback is fine tho so it is something to do with the way the app works. YouTube on chrome is flawless.

All in all I have no issues with this device and will keep it. For audio it's not the best but is good enough. I can download my music and switch off WiFi and Bluetooth to remove the noise if I'm listening to classical.

The build and features of the phone are so good for the price I'm at a loss why I would buy anything else. The only exception being that you may not like android, or what a bleeding edge camera. But I could buy this phone and a DSLR for less than an iPhone....

Notification (Gmail, WhatsApp etc.) issue

Hey guys,
I wanted tell something about the notifications bug. I get it when I enable the power saver with the button on the phone and disable it after a while. Gmail and WhatsApp don't restart automatically. I need to open them manually. This is really annoying. Also I have the YouTube audio sync and double tap issues as people mentioned. I don't have the audio interference in the 3.5 mm jack. My phone is Motorola made, it says

Impossible to unlock the p2 with voice ("Ok Google") but feature exist and i already record my voice many times to enable the feature but nothing, i can't unlock my phone...

I can't launch "cyanogen camera" on my device, the app stop when i launch it...

I think the google unlock has a bug . I had same problem with motorola camera , froze as soon as i take a photo

For me biggest iussue is that sometime power saver switch is turned on taking P2 out of my pocket. I didn't find how to completly disable it, I'll have to put some glue on it :\

General rule guys: Don't format the sd card in the phone. Use a PC. I don't bother about the Dt2w issue, but the audio sync is a real problem. For the cpu at max on idle someone tried to reboot and check again?

I do not experience the YT sync bug. I streamed hours of videos the last couple of days and did not experience any sort of sync issues. Also the CPU is going to deep sleep. The govenor is most probably set to performance from factory.

is Yellow Tint on S-AMOLED common??

or is it only on some devices??

mince is Yellow , when the screen display Colour Mode is set to NORMAL - colours go really PALE

Vibrant corrects the yellow tint to some extent ..

when compared in LCD displays i cant find anything .. but on phone Display, i can see the Yellow tint boosted when on NORMAL

So .. is anyone facing the same??
