Lenovo Phab 2 Plus - Roms PB2-670M_S000044_161029_ROW

Hi All, I had a PB2-670N (Chinese). I flashed on the PB2-670M (ROW) firmware and as expected lost the IMEI.

However I found that I could put back on the IMEI's using Maui META. Both Sims active and working now.

On ROW build it seems much more stable and the Chinese is gone on some of the call notifications.

I have the same phone as you do, rooted without any trouble using the package supplied by freakerz76.

Thank you so much fobos for the rare PB2-670Y ROM. I've downloaded the ROM, and tried to flash a few times. Unfortunately, my windows 10 laptop/pc has had problems with MediaTek USB driver. The SP Flash Tool is fine but didn't seem to establish good connection between laptop/pc and Phab 2 Plus phone, keeps sending error message. I will have to bring the phone to try at my work, it runs on windows 7 and never had any communication problems flashing Phab 2 Plus with SP Flash Tool like the winsdow 10 rig.

I will keep posting the results.

I successfully managed to flash PB2-670Y ROM on my Phab 2 Plus phone with SP Flash Tool (on Windows 7 Pro) today without any error messages. But, there is a problem, it is unusual that I can't put IMEI back using Maui META tool (unlike flashing with PB2-670M ROM, the phone connected and I can put both IMEIs back in 20-30seconds). I've tried many times, Maui META tool still didn't get through the BootROM/Handshake. Tried another nvram.img backup with SP Flash Tool method but no success though, keep sending error message about header (I am not programmer, so not understand).

I'm running my Phab 2 Plus with PB2-670M ROM but can't be able to use it with my carrier in Canada. Any advices would be appreciated.

Which ROM are you looking for, PB2-670M or PB2-670Y? The ROMs for PB2-670M work really well but for PB2-670Y doesn't let me fix the IMEI though.

I wasn't sucessfull with instalation this update on my rooted phone. In the end I installed full ROM
