Are you still showing that stock recovery version of S000119 firmware or has that changed to the S000214 version?
Build number: A10-70L_S119_161009_ROW Date: 09/10/16 Creator: Lenovo OS: Android 5.0 Description: Only for version A10-70L
@bigrammy Yes, mine is showing A10-70L_S119_161009_ROW. So, even if it's showing Lolipop version of ROM I should still try to flash KitKat 4 recovery? And if failed to boot try to install Lolipop 5 recovery?

[/COLOR @bigrammy It looks like nothing was changed still for KK TWRP. I'm attaching a video https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sH8ipNsqo_pgH_-HTdBGnEbI_Ck4YIoK/view . I've waited 2 minutes, still booting to 3e (version is still A10-70L_S119_161009_ROW). I understand I should try to flash Lolipop TWRP right now?

I'm quoting you, @bigrammy as I'm not really sure if you get that thread subscribed and I forgot to mention you on first post...
fastboot flash recovery
Did the STOCK recovery fail too?Failed to flash fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (kitkat + lolipop, both throwing an error
sending 'recovery' (13636 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.435s]
partition 'recovery' not support flash)
finished. total time: 0.449s
let me flash s214 using fastboot then
EDIT: Or I need to flash some modified boot.img (with ROOT) first? to be able to flash TWRP via fastboot...
Yes correctUnfortunately, yes Here's the video, maybe I'm doing something wrong...
I had flashed recovery.img from file A10-70L_S000214_M_170606_ROW.7z
EDIT: try to use command
fastboot flash boot recovery.img
fastboot oem unlock
if no support
Use FlashTool to flash recoverys to the boot partition and see if any of them take if not then I am out of ideas and it may not be recoverable which is a first for me. :crying:
Only Sony mtk's failed to recover and thats because sony removed SPFlashTool support.
Yes sorry after flashing the recovery to the boot partition just boot the tablet as normal dont boot to recovery.Sure, no problem, I totally get it Running fastboot oem unlock ends with
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time: 0.004s
When I've tried to flash stock recovery.img using "boot" partition (SPFlash) - video here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xFO2_1qZpoWev1iX29GwsPzrBgpoZuxQ/view
It also succeeded - green tickbox. I'm attaching the logs, but I don't see nothing suspicious... https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-YoRwmtPy_G5daWo3csrQvbauPd159LD Maybe you could take a look, please?
EDIT: I've tried to boot to recovery now, but it still display A10-70L_S000119_161009_ROW. And regarding repartition stuff, I understand there is no way to do that, right?
Sorry for the delay I just got a readback of the pgpt HERE from my Tablet BUT I had to revert to a older version of SPFlashTool as the newer version would not work.Sure, let me wait After 2 minutes is still bootlooping on Lenovo powered by Android logo. I'm also thinking about trying to flash KitKat Lenovo_A10-70L_MT6752_S018_150423.zip if that fails...
EDIT. Ah, no, it looks it does not even boot stock recovery using Power button...
Let me try to flash KitKat recovery because I've accidentally flashed 6.0 one
EDIT2. I've downgraded SPFlashTool version from v5.1816 to v5.1612 and when I'm trying to flash stock KitKat recovery using
* recovery option - it fails at 41%
* boot option - it fails at 14%
with error message S_FT_DOWNLOAD_FAIL...
I'm not really sure if that newer version of SpFlashTool is flashing anything
Sorry for the delay I just got a readback of the pgpt HERE from my Tablet BUT I had to revert to a older version of SPFlashTool as the newer version would not work.
I am on Linux so had to go through some hard drives to find the older version I knew work. which was v5-1548 but remember I am on Linux.
I noticed My pgpt differs only slightly from your and that's on the very first part just below EFI so maybe someone messed with it.
So you can try flash my pgpt and once thats done flash the stock rom in firmware upgrade mode. Dont flash it after or it will overwrite the preloader.
So PGPT first Then the Rest of the STOCK firmware.
Also try find the Windows SPFlashTool v5-1548 If you can. Just found it on a old window Hard Drive HERE
Did the Logo change If not then it did not write but by all means check the recovery.Hey, operation went totally fine (first PGPT using modified scatter and Download option), then I've unplugged the cable, and switched to stock ROM scatter and flashed FULL STOCK ROM. Went totally fine in 2.5 minute. When tried to power on it still hangs on Lenovo logo, no boot animation... Now it's 8 minutes, I'll wait until 20m.
If that wont' happen should I check if 3e version was upgraded? If not, should I try to flash TWRP using "boot" checkbox after loading your PGPT once again?
Sadly I do not think it will work. :crying:@bigrammy Yes, I've used your uploaded v5-1548 version. No, it still displayed static Lenovo logo for 20 minutes. No sign of any kind of animation. I've pressed Vol plus and Power to boot to recovery and then power of the tablet. Still 3e version version which came with that tablet... No sign of updated version... If you wish I can flash again pgpt and stock / your modified 6.0 version and leave it boot for more than 20 minutes
What I only see is that logo...
