@bigrammy hey, I think the link is missing but I was able to download A10-70L_S000214_170606_ROW_WCFEE7F639.zip from thread I've mentioned. The result was as I described above.

If you have found any way how to restore partitions back, let me know :)

Are you still showing that stock recovery version of S000119 firmware or has that changed to the S000214 version?
I cannot remember if that S000119 version is Kitkat or not do you know?
Never mind I found it.
Code:
Build number: A10-70L_S119_161009_ROW
Date: 09/10/16
Creator: Lenovo
OS: Android 5.0
Description:

Only for version A10-70L
If you are and it is KitKat you will need the KitKat version of TWRP from the main thread.
The Partition details did change between KK & LP hence why the TWRP from this thread will not boot.
If this is the case then this means FlashTool is NOT working as all this should be over wrote.
Try the KitKat TWRP anyway just incase someone messed up before

PS Does fastboot work?

@bigrammy Yes, mine is showing A10-70L_S119_161009_ROW. So, even if it's showing Lolipop version of ROM I should still try to flash KitKat 4 recovery? And if failed to boot try to install Lolipop 5 recovery?

OK. Let me try :) Fastboot is working for me

[/COLOR @bigrammy It looks like nothing was changed still for KK TWRP. I'm attaching a video https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sH8ipNsqo_pgH_-HTdBGnEbI_Ck4YIoK/view . I've waited 2 minutes, still booting to 3e (version is still A10-70L_S119_161009_ROW). I understand I should try to flash Lolipop TWRP right now?

Try
Code:
fastboot flash recovery
TWRP.KK.img check and if no boot try TWRP.LP.img and check if fastboot say no try flash the Stock recovery from the s214 version.
This is the first time I have seen SPFlashTool fail to write to the emmc without throwing a error.

Failed to flash fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (kitkat + lolipop, both throwing an error:)

writing 'recovery'...

let me flash s214 using fastboot then

EDIT: Or I need to flash some modified boot.img (with ROOT) first? to be able to flash TWRP via fastboot... :)

Unfortunately, yes :( Here's the video, maybe I'm doing something wrong...

https://drive.google.com/file/d/17qLxoFCRhdmEtMCqxwnIlXhFEVV6hc2u/view

I had flashed recovery.img from file A10-70L_S000214_M_170606_ROW.7z

EDIT: try to use command

fastboot flash boot recovery.img

correct?
Yes correct
fastboot oem unlock
if no support
Use FlashTool to flash recoverys to the boot partition and see if any of them take if not then I am out of ideas and it may not be recoverable which is a first for me. :crying:
Only Sony mtk's failed to recover and thats because sony removed SPFlashTool support.

Sure, no problem, I totally get it :) Running fastboot oem unlock ends with

finished. total time: 0.004s

When I've tried to flash stock recovery.img using "boot" partition (SPFlash) - video here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xFO2_1qZpoWev1iX29GwsPzrBgpoZuxQ/view

It also succeeded - green tickbox. I'm attaching the logs, but I don't see nothing suspicious... https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-YoRwmtPy_G5daWo3csrQvbauPd159LD Maybe you could take a look, please? :)

EDIT: I've tried to boot to recovery now, but it still display A10-70L_S000119_161009_ROW. And regarding repartition stuff, I understand there is no way to do that, right? :)

Yes sorry after flashing the recovery to the boot partition just boot the tablet as normal dont boot to recovery.
Hopefully you should see the updated recovery.
EDIT:
If it boots the recovery on normal start try sending TWRP to the boot partition using flashtool

Sure, let me wait :) After 2 minutes is still bootlooping on Lenovo powered by Android logo. I'm also thinking about trying to flash KitKat Lenovo_A10-70L_MT6752_S018_150423.zip if that fails...

EDIT. Ah, no, it looks it does not even boot stock recovery using Power button...
Let me try to flash KitKat recovery because I've accidentally flashed 6.0 one :(

EDIT2. I've downgraded SPFlashTool version from v5.1816 to v5.1612 and when I'm trying to flash stock KitKat recovery using
* recovery option - it fails at 41%
* boot option - it fails at 14%

with error message S_FT_DOWNLOAD_FAIL...

I'm not really sure if that newer version of SpFlashTool is flashing anything :)

Edit. I think I was the closest when flashed KitKat 4.4 recovery (not via boot, but via recovery) using previous (actually from that thread) Flash Tool. It was stuck at 84%. Also what I see that using different USB port but the same cable (and the same flashing method) gives me different results... Unfortunately right now (because of Covid :) ) I can't check flashing using different computer :)

Sorry for the delay I just got a readback of the pgpt HERE from my Tablet BUT I had to revert to a older version of SPFlashTool as the newer version would not work.
I am on Linux so had to go through some hard drives to find the older version I knew work. which was v5-1548 but remember I am on Linux.
I noticed My pgpt differs only slightly from your and that's on the very first part just below EFI so maybe someone messed with it.
So you can try flash my pgpt and once thats done flash the stock rom in firmware upgrade mode. Dont flash it after or it will overwrite the preloader.
So PGPT first Then the Rest of the STOCK firmware.
Also try find the Windows SPFlashTool v5-1548 If you can. Just found it on a old window Hard Drive HERE

Hey, operation went totally fine (first PGPT using modified scatter and Download option), then I've unplugged the cable, and switched to stock ROM scatter and flashed FULL STOCK ROM. Went totally fine in 2.5 minute. When tried to power on it still hangs on Lenovo logo, no boot animation... Now it's 8 minutes, I'll wait until 20m.

If that wont' happen should I check if 3e version was upgraded? If not, should I try to flash TWRP using "boot" checkbox after loading your PGPT once again? :)

Did the Logo change If not then it did not write but by all means check the recovery.
I think it maybe the flashtool version so maybe switch to the version I uploaded.
The boot animation should start after a minute or so if all is good but that animation may take a good while to boot up fully.
EDIT:
You can leave the PGPT alone now if you already flashed mine.

@bigrammy Yes, I've used your uploaded v5-1548 version. No, it still displayed static Lenovo logo for 20 minutes. No sign of any kind of animation. I've pressed Vol plus and Power to boot to recovery and then power of the tablet. Still 3e version version which came with that tablet... No sign of updated version... If you wish I can flash again pgpt and stock / your modified 6.0 version and leave it boot for more than 20 minutes :)

What I only see is that logo...

Ok, let's make some rest for a while :) I'm so grateful for your time! Do you think maybe it would be easier if we talk on some online chat app like Google Hangouts? Or forum is fine for you?

Sadly I do not think it will work. :crying:
Maybe another PC and or USB cable will work but if those fail then the emmc must be corrupt as it's simply not taking any writes to it at all it would seem. :(
PS: You can PM me if anything changes :)

Due to confusion and minor bugs that required some user input I have removed the TWRP version and replaced it with this SPFlashTool version.

    Before Flashing:
    • This ROM will wipe your internal sd_card including Pictures, Music, etc, etc on it. BACKUP First You have been warned!!!
    • This ROM is NOT a full Android upgrade so please make sure you are already on Android 6.0 (MM)

    Whats Different bigrammy??
    • boot.logo Now Black instead of the White burning out your eyeballs one.
    • bootanimation. Now Black Pixel animation.

    • Ported Sony Music Album and Video directly from my Sony C4 mt6752 device. :D
    • These are Just to name a few but has lots of other minor mods I have forgotten about.

    Installing and things to Note:
    • MM TWRP is included in the ROM.
    • Please flash the entire ROM or I/we will not know whats causing the problems should there be any.
    • After the flash is complete boot to recovery ONLY and flash Magisk Latest Stable release HERE
    • First time boot takes 10 minutes so do not panic. As soon you see the boot animation go make a cup of coffee and wait.
It will boot guaranteed if you see the bootanimation. :fingers-crossed:
The reason it seems to take so long is that the boot animation continues until fully booted so you do not see the usual dialog box "updating app 1 of xxx" etc
    • Ensure you update Google Play Services via the playstore (Doing this First ensures smooth and uninterrupted updates of the other playstore apps)
    • Update all other app's listed in playstore/my apps
    • Note app's like trackid will only display in portrait as our device res is not officially supported.

The latest MM Rom's posted by @Tzul HERE are the Official OTA (Over The Air) updates which if your were on the latest Stock LP firmware you would receive anyway so check for Software Updates on your device First.

Will I get MM if I flash this?
Yes they will UPGRADE you from the official LP to the Official MM release.
    How do I flash these?
These official OTA's are designed to be recovery flash-able (eg TWRP)
Can I flash these with SPFlashTool?
No they are not SPFlashtool version Updates.
    Which one do I flash?
Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70F, S000216_170601 is for the WiFi Only Tablet
Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L, S000214_170606 is for the 3G Tablet (Takes a SIM Card)
Will I lose root if I flash this?
    Yes
Will I lose my data if I flash this?
    Yes
If your already on the leaked MM version I see no reason to format data so to prevent the data wipe
Open the A10-70F_S000216_170601_ROW.zip and navigate to /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script open with a good txt editor and remove this line of text
    Code:
    format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/platform/mtk-msdc.0/11230000.MSDC0/by-name/userdata", "0", "/data");
Will my data be encrypted if I flash this?
    Yes
Is it possible to flash this and keep root?
    Yes See HERE
Is it possible to flash this and not have data encrypted?
    Yes See HERE
Is it possible to flash this and keep TWRP?
    Yes See HERE
And HERE for the MM TWRP-recovery.img's

    Code:
    getprop("ro.product.device") == "A10-70F" || abort("This package is for \"A10-70F\" devices; this is a \"" + getprop("ro.product.device") + "\".");
save close and flash the .zip

That's great but how do I keep root, TWRP and not have my data encrypted flashing the Official MM update?
Copy All files to your external sdcard then Flash them in this order at the same time.
    1. Flash this which is for your Device
Small Note: At this point it maybe wise to go back to the TWRP menu the choose Reboot/recovery to enable the newly formatted data partition to remount correctly before proceeding.
    2. Then Flash this which is for your Device
    3. Then flash SuperSU v2.79 or higher stable ZIP file from here
    4. Then flash The MM TWRP-recovery.img F or L depending on your device if not already installed.
    5. Reboot.
