Hi everyone, I have the p1c72 version with the p1a42 rom (S288 with ota\ no root), and I wanted to ask you if is possible to change the language (I'm italian..) with this method:

hey guys when i try to hot reboot my device ,i found that wi-fi doesn't work and i must do a normal reboot to get it working .
any one try it or any one has a solution. thanks

yes,but keep in mind this method will change all apps language except the setting app will not change

I successfully restored the TWRP backup file from pabgar everything is fine except I can't mount system in r/w anymore and now I cannot install viper4android. Tried different installation method but all fail. Anyone managed to install viper4android on 288?

Anyone managed to install viper4android on 288?

Yes, no problem.
Flash via TWRP this SELinux Policy fix and install Viper .apk installation file.
Works like a charm.

There is no ROM for P1 with full italian support ( as well there is no with my native polish ). You may root and use Morelocale 2. This will partially change android settings to italian, make apps to be in italian.

hi, somebody facing problems when trying to boot into bootloader? i've successfully flashed S272 on my p1c58, also tried s288 (qfil again), but if i try to reboot into bootloader just hanging on lenovo logo?! of course i flash rawprogram_unlock.xml before that but... still? i can't get twrp for rooting and xposed

While flashing twrp using qfil did you press and hold volume up and down together till you see twrp screen...

Smarty is right. Pressing volup+voldown is little tricky but necessary
I flashed TWRP 3 or 4 times untill I got success

I have p1a42 so can't tell if you can do it on p1c58 or not.....? but someday someone has to do it and take the risk to know for sure... ? ? ? ?

In all cases it's difficult to predict because just it works on one phone never guarantees that it will work on every phone..... ?

I will have ota updates? Which is the latest international rom to flash? Or it will be bricked

You are senior member. Shame on you asking such questions instead of browsing the forum
You have probably modified ( non stock ) firmware so you will not receive OTA.

HELP.........Why it fails to flash the rom? I have everything in place but when I hit "DOWLOAD" it just fails. I have everything installed as in the instructions but nothing happens. I have the Chinese version of the phone with 3 gb of ram. I have tried several roms with no success. Something that I notice is that the port is not qualcomm. It is a Relink port. Qfil sees the phone but it wont install anything. It says emergency download failed something like that.

Maybe you have some other phone drivers installed so they "get over" qualcomm drivers.
I.e.: I have Lenovo Vibe P1 and Xiaomi Redmi 3 phones. Both are qualcomm based processors . I must use 2 different computers with different sets of drivers to flash correctly. Vibe is theoretically recognised on machine with Redmi drivers but flashing does not go well.
I suggest you make clean windows install with P1 drivers

im running s272 build.. works fine then i decide to upgrade to s288 when flashing this suddenly happen... it stop in the middle then sender sahara fail.. please help me.. cant return to s272 either

This may happen if suddenly USB communication link goes down. The cause may be poor contact or cable type or just phone USB card.
Just keep trying multiple times and if possible try replacing USB cable. I have faced this but usually it works on its own after a while.
