I guess bootloader is locked on lolipop.
wow so I have to flash back to 6, I unlocked the bootloader in 6 you mean it locked after downgrade?
Well as far as I know while flashing the rom you did flash Emmc_aboot so it's locked now. Check if it's unlocked using adb /fastboot and let me also know.

as you can see , no bootloader status , do you think I must go back to 6 as it was very easy to unlock and flash twrp in 6 but I wanted to use stock 5.1.1 that is why I downgraded

Regarding backup of device
I am using vibe p1 p1a42
In TWRP 3.0.2.0 recovery in backup there are 5 options
1. boot
2.system
3. system image
4.Data
5. Cache
6. EFS
What partitions i have to take back up in order to keep existing ROM for future purpose?

boot, system(2), data
for some folks twrp 3.0.2.0 giving problem during backup/ restore so I advice you to use twrp 3.0.1.0 by _kyo_

I want to install VIBEUI_V2.9_1608_5.146.1_ST_P1c58 ROM downloaded from http://www.vibeui.com/vibeui/rom3?key=P1c58

And I had to change IMEI number of vibe p1 because of my country's tax regulations. It looked like everything goes well. But when I travel to another country, I have problems with cell reception. Phone cannot register itself to cell network. I cannot even dial emergency number. What could be wrong, how can I fix this? I installed a42 ROM to c58. Is it possible this cause the problem. I'm thinking to install stock ROM of c58. Do you think this could solve the problem?

This is regarding p1a42_S288_160721_ROW for TWRP a post created by pabgar to upgrade to 160721 for those who have TWRP already installed
I have a problem
The unpacked vol is about 5.5 GB and I put it in the folder to my SD card where TWRP images are held
I restored and following error as in attached snapshot occurred (In red color text) and the restored vol was about 3.5 gb means all 3 images as reported in error could not be restored

What twrp version u have? I think u use an old one what dosnt support this, but anyway better to use qfil for stock rom, not twrp zip files.
Then i think, the newest recovery dont use the efs partition, better to use QFIL to flash stock rom.
Try it with recoveries provided by kyo , maybe it will work
This is how i root my P1a42 after so many failed due to too many error encounters including "too many links", If you follow these step correctly you will succeed rooting your phone
1. Download P1a42_S288_160721_ROW_RAW_QFIL (Find from google or within xda work a bit to success)
2. Flash this Row using QFIL with normal setting (do backup because this will for sure delete all your files)
This time flash with "rawprogram0"
3. reboot your phone and skip everything and turn it back off to flash using QFIL again but this time under the XML setting choose "rawprogram0_aboot+twpr" hold your VOL+ button to prevent the mobile from blocking you editing the system files
4A. Try boot to recovery now to see if you succeed if you are still in the normal recovery follow step below, if you succeed then follow step 5
4B. Now download the tools below:-
a. ADB tools (as usual you can find it from google try these keyword "how to flash using ADB")
b. TWRP recovery img i use twrp_passion_row_recovery_.img (as usual google it)
c. copy the twrp img into the adb tools folder and click CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK in that folder and choose "Open Command WIndow Here"
d. MAKE SURE YOUR DEBUGGING MODE IS ON AND YOUR USB IS CONNECTED TO YOUR PHONE AND PLEASE ALLOW DEBUGGING MODE FROM YOUR PHONE AND REMEMBER YOUR PC/LAPTOP
e. type commands below
adb devices
adb reboot-bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot oem device-info
At this point you should make sure that your adb window is telling you as below
(bootloader) Device tampered: true
(bootloader) Device unlocked: true
If not your device is locked then type
fastboot oem unlock
if you are unable to unlock it please google how to unlock them first
after you have successfully unlocked your oem type the command below
fastboot boot twrp_passion_row.img
5. now you should wait a few second till you phone boot into TWRP then you can install SUPERSU (download the zip from xda and copy it into your internal storage)
after done, reboot and then go back to ADB and type command below

fastboot flash recovery twrp_passion_row.img

I have been waiting for months, is there still no root for c72? I don't want to use the a42 rom.
It is same rom if i know right, but anyway u can flash the same files its will work if i know right. Or u can use the fastboot method like the most phone.
Currently P1a42_S135_151013_ROW ROM is installed on my Vibe P1c58.

But it is not in QFIL format. Where can I download it in QFIL format or how can I install it with TWRP or stock recovery? When I tried to install it with TWRP, it gave this error message:
This package is for passionc5 devices; this is a idol347.
When I tried to install it with stock recovery, it gave an error at 50%.
