Lenovo Vibe P1 STOCK ROM, CUSTOM ROM, ROOTING, UNROOTING, RECOVERY

Currently P1a42_S135_151013_ROW ROM is installed on my Vibe P1c58.
I want to install official VIBEUI_V3.1_1613_5.92.1_ST_P1c58 ROM, which I downloaded it from http://www.vibeui.com/vibeui/rom3?key=P1c58
But it is not in QFIL format. Where can I download it in QFIL format or how can I install it with TWRP or stock recovery? When I tried to install it with TWRP, it gave this error message:
This package is for passionc5 devices; this is a idol347.
When I tried to install it with stock recovery, it gave an error at 50%.

I change updater-script inside ROM zip file and remove passionc5 check script and tried to install ROM with TWRP. Update process never finished and I powered off the phone after 25 minutes and phone bricked.

Any idea how to install ST ROM with TWRP?

With a42 roms its need to work, but anyway flash back the a42 rom with qfil and i will get the modemfile for gsm banda for c58

Edit: i cant find anything usefull, in portugal and switzerland its need to work with latest s288 a42 rom, and for the zip / what u send before / need a special cwm/twrp for the chinese models, thats why u cant flash it.
I think try to flash the stock s288 a42 rom with qfil, then go to a custom rom and try it.

Thank you for your reply. I would like to explain whole story:

1. I bought p1c58 from aliexpress. I flashed it S288 a42 rom with qfil and changed imei number because of my country's regulations.
2. It worked in my country.
3. When I traveled to 2 different countries, I can't use phone with GSM networks.
4. Now I re-flashed with S135 with qfil. But I haven't tested it yet abroad.
5. I also found another rom: 1627 ST from 4pda.ru: VIBEUI_V3.1_1627_5.195.1_ST_P1c58

First I will try S135 at abroad. If it will not work, I'll let you know. I may try 1627 ST also.

ios is apple system, android isnt. But anyway for p1 we dont have any ios / ios copy rom.

I followed the exact same process as you have mentioned. Once the process was finished the lenovo p1a42 reboots and displays: "Optimizing apps 1 of 130", ok so the apps optimization completes. Now some errors start popping up saying "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped working", "Unfortunately the nfs service has stopped", "Unfortunately the Notification center has stopped". These three errors are too annoying and are killing me from inside. There is no background in the back just a dark color and the errors popping up. I still have the hope to fix this by using the stock rom but the process includes flashing which means I really have to wipe data out. There are some picture of my holiday trip in the internal memory which I don't want to get deleted. And Whatsapp messages of friends including old memories. If there is anyway I can still install twrp and try to move the data out using the filemanager in it. Please help me how to install it. Thanks :crying:

Can anyone verify that in Nougat custom roms (aosp extended, tesla rom, etc), you are not able to import SIM contacts from the SIM Card? Mine shows that the SIM card cannot read the contacts.

Does Chinese P1 phone hardware support all P1a42 frequency bands?

If a Chinese P1c58 phone is flashed with P1a42 ROM (for example, P1a42_S135_151013_ROW), will it enable additional frequency bands? So the flashed phone will have all the same frequency bands as the native P1a42?

What frequency do u need? cuz most of it c58 has, probably 3-4 band didnt have.
