. I tried to use regular charger but it is not strong enough to keep battery level and not to mention to charge it. Maybe battery is draining slower (when using regular car charger) but most certainly it is not charging.
Thank you for answers
I think you have crappy charger.I use 2A charger in car and works OK

Is there a separate subforum for Vibe P1 yet?
Root for EU version with EU multilanguage ROM is a perhaps question of time?
On Google Graphics I saw, that for both (chinese and EU) models SIM cards have their OWN slots, and SD card also has it's own slot, is this truth?
Is ANY phone with this chipset, which is supported by Cyanogenmod?

This device uses Snapdragon 615 chipset which is cmpatible with Qualcom Quick Charger 2.0. But I was not able to find info that really I can use this Qualcom Quick Charger 2.0 to charge my device. Lenovo calls it Rocket Charger, but I can't find tech specs and difference with Qualcom Quick charge. Does anyone knows can I buy Qualcom Quick Charger 2.0 and use it for charging my device (P1a42)? I want to buy BlitzWolf car Qualcom QuickCharger because I spend a lot of time in my car and use navigation on my phone so battery drains quite quick. I tried to use regular charger but it is not strong enough to keep battery level and not to mention to charge it. Maybe battery is draining slower (when using regular car charger) but most certainly it is not charging.

Are you referring only to the car charger? I have the phone and the rocket charger that came with it is really good. It shows that the charger charges between the range of 5.2v to 12v all @ 2A. Not sure but I think that's higher than quickcharge.
I also use the phone for Google maps navigation but my old car charger works fine.. The battery definitely charges, although given the capacity it shows very little change in term of %. Any car charger with 2A output should do the job for u.

I'm referring for all sort of chargers. I found Qualcomm QuickCharger which have 5V, 7V and 12V (rocketcharger has also 9V). Qualcomm charges all voltages with 2A except 12V which is 1.5A.
I would like to have spare charger. I'm searching to buy one but I'm not able to find any store on web which sale Lenovo RocketCharger. So, I started a search for replacement charger (I do have original charger but I always have one charger in office, one at home and one in my laptop bag. I know that is sort of a problem but I like it that way).

No subforum till now. Have to ask for it I guess. It's a fairly capable device. Just need a custom optimized rom to take full advantage of the hardware.
All devices have 2 sim slots and a separate microsd slot (upto 128gb) which is pretty cool.

Newbie with new P1

I had started using this phone from Christmas and I had absolutely loved the experience...
Brilliant specs for affordable price...
I had gone through the posts on this thread n found that there's no update on custom roms for this device yet... Would love to try out stock 6.0 Android experience on this.
Any luck on getting the boot unlocker for the p1a42 device

Happy Android:)

Hi, I just received my unit. It's performing well, but I've noticed a few issues:
- very weak NFC, it doesn't recognize ANY of my tags, or even credit contactless cards in a first attempt. I have to move it many times, it sees tag one time of few taps... maybe anyone knows how to improve it?
- strange behaviour of Bluetooth - it for example pair with my car stereo, which is Alpine 173BT and I can play music or talk - but when I remove the front panel of my car stereo leaving the car, then attach it again - I have to pair it again, despite it is on the list in P1 as "not connected/not in range". On my LG G2 connection was automatic, here I have to tap on 'Alpine CD Receiver" then it connects. But sometimes it cannot connect, and the radio asks "PAIR? NO" so I rotate the knob to "PAIR? YES" and then they pair... I will try to update the Alpine firmware, maybe it's some bug...
- no polish language, but there are languages for nearby countries. There are some apps in the store, called "More Locale" - can I grant some permission by adb shell and then chnage the locale to polish, or not? It is just hidden, or no compiled in?
- all apps from the store use device language - that is - english, could I force them somehow to switch to polish locale (all apps have their own locale resources in them...), or at least force Google Apps to use polish, instead of system language?

The rest is fine and the phone is very responsive, fingerprint scanner is amazing feature, the 'scenes' is very good tool to change audio profiles or turing on/off some components. Loudspeaker is VERY loud, comparing it to LG G2, Galaxy S3.

We all definitely need root access....

Regarding the locale, I managed to change it to polish with "Locale More" from the store. USB driver is required, then we have to run adb shell and grant some permission for this tool, then it is able to change locale, and all apps turns into their polish version, as well as Google Apps. However, the Settings of the phone remain in english. This is acceptable. I hope Lenovo will add polish language in Marshmallow update.

Do you use it properly? I have no problem with NFC.
Keep in mind that NFC sensor on P1a42 is not in the middle of the phone as usually, but between VIBE letters and flash on backside. There is a NFC logo...

Check every application separately and set them to your prefered language if it is possible. That's all..

Two questions from me
1. if i root how can i unroot the device? I just delete supersu with a file manager from system? Factory reset will also unroot the mobile (i know that i will lose everything)
2. If i send it to service after unrooting they will see that it was rooted before?
