Yes Indian version is also the same P1a42 we need some dev help to make a root and custom recovery.

As there is no root i was using just disable option the boalt ware. which drains battery and storage too...
All installed crap (bloatware installed in official Lenovo ROM) can be easily uninstalled.

Additionally, all usually unused Google Apps (like Movies or G+) can be disabled. After my "cleaning" action, I have 600 MB of RAM free and finally Facebook is not lagging to much... System responses also improved. I'm curious, how much it would be possible to overclock this thing. 1,5 Ghz this times is no to much. However, Marshmallow on LG G2 with 4 cores and also 2 gigs of RAM is doing super smoothly, so I expect the same here, when Lenovo will push 6.0 to P1. Or, someone will hack bootloader earlier.

I want buy this phone but I don't understand if exist an official firmware in multilaguages with Italian, google apps and if there are the OTA upadtes? I've seen one kind at "needrom" but there are some discordants comments about it...... Can someone tell me if I can buy it here in Italy/europe without problem??? Thanks!

I have only these languages in the phone. OTA update works flawlessly.

I bought my P1a42 at lenovoshop.sk
Multilang, but no Italian
Charger has Euro plug (Plug-Typ C)
I set System-langugage in English
Than change it with "MoreLocale 2" and ADB-shell to German. ( root not needed)
System-Menu is still English, but installed apps and Goggle-apps now in Germen

Maybe you can wait for a while. There wasn't Italian language on my Yoga tablet at the beginning, but now is already implemented, could be the same for phone. This phone is very new.Thanks guys!

Buying the 3gb c72 version from Chinese seller can I find one firmware with gapps, English and ota? I don't understand the difference of the two firmware version if there is......
