I did that already. But some icons remain unchanged. I believe it is a bug. And the way the icons are displayed is weird.

Hope you are using stock launcher... I don't see Search Apps/Frequently used apps when i go to All Apps..I did that already. But some icons remain unchanged. I believe it is a bug. And the way the icons are displayed is weird.
Google now launcher. At first I didn't like google now, but i somehow changed my opinion of it. Anyway, i guess that is the best i can get without rooting the phone. I saw that Lenovo Launcher exists, but i don't use it. Awaiting for root now. So i can uninstall all the things that i hate about the UI.Hope you are using stock launcher... Yes the Icons would be little weird, but much better than Vibe !!
Be aware that when rip off default launcher you may ran into problems in future. When you reset phone to defaults, system will try to launch default launcher. As there will be no launcher ( all installed apks will be gone including your preferred installed launcher) , you will be in deep sh.. t.I saw that Lenovo Launcher exists, but i don't use it. ........ Thanks for the advice! I did intend to completely remove the Lenovo launcher, but now i just want to fully replace it without removing it from the system. I like my android to be as close as vanilla as possible. So ... Maybe when we get unlocked bootloader and TWRP / CWM i will try to replace as much as i can from the vanilla version.Be aware that when rip off default launcher you may ran into problems in future. I know. I did so once![]()
You do not need unlocked bootloader to do that. Root is enough to rip off system files and place other in their place.. Maybe when we get unlocked bootloader and TWRP / CWM i will try to replace as much as i can from the vanilla version.
Yes, but if i ruin everything i prefer to have a nandroid ready. It only takes ~10 minutes to get it back with all my apps & preferences. You do not need unlocked bootloader to do that. Root is enough.
I see that you have rooted your P1! I have the same build (P1a42_S152_160126_ROW) and the p1c72 hardware...I have just used the latest kingroot but nothing! How did you do? I want Xposed too!Because it's too heavy, try to use FBLite.
