I have bought a p1c72. Thought it was ROW but is masked chinese? (vibeui) Google play app don't work, has king root so tried to uninstall and reinstall google play app also tried updating also. Neither worked. Can you overwrite the rom and make build ROW or is it physically stuck as vibeui?

Ok but take me as a novice.... What software do I need to flash the new rom? Ive used Bbsak on a blackberry to change os etc but not flashing firmware. Thinking of buying the phone. Heard about the display. Is it bright enough? how is it in sunlight? and what about the camera?
Display brightness default setting is low but acceptable even in sun. But in display settings there is a special super bright mode wherein display is very good even in sun. You can choose smart brightness mode where display is in normal dim mode and super bright mode automatically gets turned on only in sun but not in Bright ambient light. Over all its smart brightness feature is really good.
This phone kicks ass. Great battery life, no overheating, decent camera - better than honor 6, dual sim, 4g, fingerprint, tight build and metal materials, premium rom features, ex price. Need I say more?
What about the camera? Any camera samples u people can share? does super brightness mode takes a lot of battery?
I don't know I have set in auto mode and smart brightness on. In super bright mode it is too harsh on eyes when not in direct sun so it is very uncomfortable. I don't have to use my mobile on sun for very long duration. About camera in bright sunlight /natural light it is very good. I don't expect much from 13MPx. But in artificial lights or inside rooms it's very shaky picture even when actually camera is held still.

For few days I get around 8hrs of screen on time for few days I get only 4hrs of screen on time.
I don't use 3g/4g. Only 2g or WiFi. Battery drains very fast over WiFi it needs to be fixed or is it normal.

Around 25 GB out of 32 GB is available at first boot and around 850 MB Ram.
Many preloaded bloat ware can be disabled. This will give more ram and rom.

Primary camera gives above average results in light(both sunlight + flash) but sucks in low light environment (i think it's camera driver issue and can be fixed).
Though colors, details all things are good but only in light conditions.
Video quality is mediocre.
Front ? does its job decently.
There are three settings for brightness arrangement
1)Auto brightness mode- Here screen's max brightness can't be achieved
2)Super brightness mode- this mode only brightens screen at max level but if auto brightness mode is changed then screen's max brightness turn down
3)Smart brightness mode- this mode automatically brightens screen at max level but in direct sunlight only.
This mode also changes screen's dark/black levels to greyish hue
Finally one has to make a suited combination of above three(mine is auto+smart)
Yes, super brightness mode eating battary because it sets screen @Max Brightness. This mode also itching ur eyes.

The installation went ok, but when i started the phone it did not recognized my sims and my imei is unknown now i think the update messed up my efs partition.
I read on some forums that it can be restored using a backup, but i didn't make one
I am asking if anyone of you can make a backup of his EFS partition using QPST and post it for me so i can unbrick my phone.

could you please tell me how to make a backup of existing rom using QPST. I will make a backup of my stock rom.

Does anyone checked whether the phone has RGB notification light? Because only red and blue color emitted, no green at all.
I have observed only Blue and Red notification lights till now.
Red is on while charging.
Blue is for other notifications.
None other colours observed...
