lenovo vibe x2 camera can't focus + charging takes forever

Hello, i own a Lenovo vibe x2 lolipop 5,0 international version. First problem, my camera won't focus unless i put phone down to a table and click on shutter button very lightly. If i move phone even for a milimeter the picture is not clear. i have searched for solutions all over but nothing worked. any solutions? can i repair this if i install a custom rom? Second problem is my battery, it last for about half a day. That wouldn't bothered me if charging wouldn't take 3hours, from 10% to 100%.
I have tried different chargers and cables. Battery status is good. Is there any way i can speed this up?

To charge the battery fast...
1.Boot into recovery mode...
2.clear the cache...
3.Reboot your phone...
4.another trick is enable airplane mode in charging this
Will make ur phone to charge faster...

The camera issue is with the software...

Download this and install...This will make it work... :D

charging and camera issue are not as important as signal.. i found out how to open the phone but i still don't know where the antena is. and which cable to check.. i hear that poor signal/no signal is a common problem with this phone..

Hello. Recently I bought chinese Lenovo X2 CU, and I got this very strange problem. When I insert a card of provider with 4G, T-Mobile MK or Vip Mk the signal of the phone is very unstable. It goes from 4G to 3G to 2G, most of the time I can't get 4G but it goes from 3G to 2G and vice versa. It doesn't matter if you move or you are stationary. When I insert older card of One MK, provider that doesn't have 4G, signal is stable with 3G. I've tried changing firmware, modems etc.
Also I have another problem. When I try to install Lenovo X2 AP lollipop firmware via SP Flash Tool, the phone only boot loops with black screen. But it works with Lenovo X2 AP or EU KitKat firmware. When I upgrade via OTA to Lollipop same thing happens - boot loop with black screen.
Anyone can help me with this problems?
Thanks.

Did you choose firmware upgrade? I had faced this problem before, and the solution is to flash the right bootloader.
Sorry for so late to reply, and now you can install any os in SP flash tool and use the unoffical cyanogenmod 13 for X2! I'll post a thread later about all modems of X2, with flashable zips!

New LOGO for Vibe X2

All hi.
I offer you two new images of a logo for Vibe X2.
Build and test it I. Mr. Nafuk from LFTeam, the real master of paints and a brush helped with drawing.
There are confirmations that it works correctly on many versions, as well as charging when the device is turned off.
11.png0_png_45c8b751b94bbb12f1aad7737dcbd485.png

Downloading is possible with : NeedROM

Installation:
Installation is possible as well as from TWRP, and from SFTP.

SFTP:
Download the image, place it in any folder in the root of the C: drive on the PC, remove all checkboxes except logo.img, in the logo.img line specify the location of the new logo. Stitch in Download Only mode.

TWRP:
It's even simpler.
Load the image into the internal memory of the phone, boot into the TWRP mode, tap on the Installation, select the bottom Install Image, select the file with the image and flash it.

Safety Net still broken after unrooting with Kingroot

I had been using kingroot for sometime, but now I need to use Google pay.
As Google pay doesn't work with root and a broken Safety Net, I decided to unroot using kingroot's built in unroot and uninstall feature.
But even after that Google pay doesn't work.
I checked with a safety net tester app and it seems that safety net is still broken even though I have unrooted the system.
How do I fix this.
PS: I haven't changed any system settings or flashed any ROM.
I use Lenovo X2-EU Stock Android with TWRP.

Unrooting through Kingroot leaves some traces of the files behind and that's why the safety net is triggered.
Solution is to clean flash the ROM again so that the traces won't be there and then try to use Google pay.
Magisk is the best rooting solution which doesn't trigger safety net and it's helps us mask the root. So u can use Banking apps.

Thanks but I encountered problems while installing magisk. I can't boot Android as it gets stuck at the first logo forever.
Moreover I don't need root now so I figured another method using a folder called Replace_kingroot_with_supersu_v4.zip. (couldn't find the exact version but older ones can be found using Google). It had a readme file which had all the instructions. I ran it using terminal emulator and after a single reboot, there wasn't a single trace of Kingroot (not even normal folders) and SuperSU was installed and managing root already.
So I used the complete unroot option in SuperSU and safety net was back on.

Vibe x2 working rooting method for xda members !!

    Take Note :
This tutorial should works on X2-AP version and X2-EU version as mention above, not tested in X2-CU version and X2-T0 version.. If you have no problem to risk your device, then proceed with caution on X2-CU / X2-T0..

    WHAT DO U NEED :
    *Data Cable
    *Working Lenovo X2 Device
*SP Flash Tool for MTK 6595, download from here : 4shared.com/zip/aS_CdyhZce/SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v514
(I have tested using other SPFT for 6595 downloaded from other source and its not working)
    *Custom Kernel
    *VRoot Software

***WE ARE GOING TO FLASH THAT KERNEL USING SP FLASH TOOL***
***THAT KERNEL WILL PUSH SHELL ROOT TO YOUR SYSTEM***
***ONCE YOUR DEVICE LOADED WITH THAT KERNEL, WE WILL USE VROOT TO ROOT YOUR PHONE***
***WITHOUT THAT KERNEL, VROOT ALSO WONT BE ABLE TO ROOT YOUR DEVICE***

    HOW TO DO IT :
    01. Download all attachment
    02. Now unzip (SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1436.00.000.zip) to a folder
    03. Then unzip (121.zip) to a folder
    04. Now cut this file (boot + MT6595_Android_scatter) located in extracted (121.zip folder) and put it in SP FLASH TOOL FOLDER
    05. Now connect your device to PC, and in USB Setting, tick USB DEBUGGING. your pc will auto install all necessary driver (please make sure your computer have a internet connection)
    06. Disconnect your device from PC and turn off your device (please un-tick FAST BOOT)
    06. Turn off your device
    07. Run SP Flash tool as administrator,
    08. Press download agent button > choose "MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin"
    09. Press scatter loading button > choose "MT6595_Android_scatter.txt"
    10. You will see a list below there in SP Flash Tool, make sure ONLY BOOT is tick
    11. Go to Option > download > tick DA DL All with Checksum
    12. PRESS DOWNLOAD BUTTON
    13. After press download button, connect your "totally switched off device to pc"
** the kernel will be flash, then success logo will appeared **

Okay, now you already flash custom kernel to your device..
Please disconnect your device from PC and turn on your device to make sure there is no BOOT LOOP
If no boot loop, means kernel flashed successfully

    14. Now unzip (vroot.zip) to a folder
    15. Run vroot.exe as administrator
    16. Install vroot
    17. Connect your turned on device to PC and make sure USB Debugging is ticked
    18. Run Vroot (it will detect your device)
    19. Now after few seconds, chinese apps will appear in your device, please close the stupid apps..
    20. You will see a GREEN COLOUR ROOT BUTTON on VRoot software
    21. Press that ROOT BUTTON and your device will root and boot
    22. After your device is boot, you will see a pop up on your device says "Android is Upgrading" then on Vroot Software in your PC, a green colour female android face will appear with smile, thats it.. your device is now rooted.. you will see an apps named "SuperUser" with a "Lion Logo" on your device.. Open the apps and run what it ask you to do..
    23. Go to PlayStore, download root checker (Blue Android Logo apps) and check your root status.. :)

** please follow this step by step tutorial and dont forget to hit thanks button ** ;););)

    Hi everyone!

First of all, I'm terrible sorry, if there's already a solution. I read a lot of comments, but so many of them were really similiar, I couldn't decide what to follow.

So I got my Vibe X2 - CU from china. It is perfectly ok, everything works fine, I have Kit Kat on it. Of course it has some of those annoying chinese apps like baidu browser, which start running every time, and I have to shut them down. So I saw that the new Lollipop came out, and I read back, and found out that I can install the AP version on CU too.

If anyone could write down every step on how I should update to Lollipop, I would be really thankful. I read that I need TWRP, but it needs root access, and I haven't rooted my phone yet. This is one of the main reasons I haven't started it yet.

    Sa basicly:
    I've already downloaded this file:
    ......
My VIBE X2 is a CU version. I haven't done anything with it since I got it, only installed a few apps. It doesn't have root access yet. I would like to upgrade to Lollipop and have Root access.

I'm terribly sorry, if there's already a solution for this, but since TWRP needs root, and I don't have it, I would like if someone could write aall the steps I need to make in one post, so I wouldn't have to find out what I have to do from several other posts, and since I'm a bit new to this, I really don't want to mess up anything.

Thanke you for your help in advance :)

The ROM you downloaded has worked great for my X2-CU.

Here's how to make it work on X2-CU:
    1. Download the ROM and SP-Flashtool. Extract them.

    2. Download X2-CU TWRP recovery image form the same place you downloaded the Lollipop ROM.

    3. Flash the X2-CU TWRP recovery image to your phone using the SP-Flashtool.
    Here's How to do it:
    a. Open SP Flash Tool and click Scatter Loading, now select the scatter file of your device.
the scatter file is the one called MT6595_Android_scatter.txt that is located in target_bin folder.
    b. Make sure that all the boxes are unchecked, except the one labelled Recovery. Click on Recovery and a new window will appear.
    c. Browse to the X2-EU/AP TWRP recovery image you've downloaded and click Open.
At this point, make sure that the Recovery is the only one checked and that it is showing the location of your TWRP recovery image.
    d. Turn off your phone. When it is totally off, unplug it from the USB cable.
    e. Click Download button on the SP Flash Tool, then click Yes. After that connect your switched-OFF phone to your computer using USB Cable.
    f. The tool will detect your phone and flash the recovery, if your computer can't detect your phone, re-install the drivers. Wait until the flashing is finished successfully.

    4. Boot in recovery by pressing Volume-Up + Volume-Down + Power, release the power button when device vibrates.

    5. Through recovery, make a backup of your NVRAM, then reboot your phone and copy the folder TWRP to your computer.

    6. Exit recovery. At this point, it will tell you that your phone is not rooted and will ask you whether you want to root it or not. It you like, accept rooting and then reboot.

    7. Install the X2-AP ROM. Follow the instructions in the original post. Use "FORMAT ALL + DOWNLOAD". Don't worry, you have your NVRAM.

    8. Reboot your phone.

    9. Download X2-EU/AP TWRP recovery image.

    10. Copy your TWRP folder that contains NVRAM backup from your computer to your phone storage.

    10. Flash the X2-EU/AP TWRP recovery image to your phone using the SP-Flashtool with a similar procedure to step 3.

    11. Boot in recovery as you did in step 4.

    12. Through recovery, restore your NVRAM (ONLY NVRAM), then reboot your phone.

    That's all.
    2
Decided to change and improvements (small) in the system.

    All information on NeedROM
    2
I will share update package here, over mediafire, linked over needrom.

I see there is too many people carving for X2-AP rom.

Even i use single sim card, this rom gives me opportunity to use nano or micro sim card.
    2
One click apps are not working. Tried all.

Do you flash through lenovo recovery or put custom recovery like TWRP?
    Flashed via TWRP custom recovery.
