Hi everyone. Does anyone get an issue that the weather is not showing up in widget? It just says "Get the weather" without any information although I've access the weather app and set location. How to fix it?

There is also another problem. The panel is not true black when playing Youtube videos. When using another apps like Tiktok, the panel is completely black.

I received my device with an old and unusable ZUI 12 pseudo global rom on an unlocked device.
So I'm updating first with the latest ZUI 13 qfil I found here. I also updated 2 manual OTA update for latest ZUI 13. Then I updated to Full OTA 14.0.127.
-At this time, I try to lock my device: widevine L1 was there.
-I unlocked my bootloader with HAHAHAHA sn.img and widevine L1 was gone
-I rolback to the latest ZUI 13 qfil and the 2 manual OTA.
-I try lock my device : Device Failure
So : unlock, ZUI 13 qfil and Full OTA 14.0.127 direct witout the 2 incrmental ZUI 13 OTA, then lock my device widevine L1 was there.
Finally, I unlock my device for the third time and again lose widevine L1...

So the real question is:
Is there anyone trying and successful to come back and lock ZUI 13 after ZUI 14?

My friend,to have widevine l1 ( best for streaming hd app) you must lock bootloader.....it's a "must" condition.... If the bootloader is unlock the widevine can't be L1 (hd).. i don't understand the problem....lock bootloader and stop if you want l1.


Ps.in my case, the tablet come with fake global ROM and unlock bootloader, use qstl tool i put the china ROM (the old one) ,lock bootloader (and get ,L1) , do all the OTA for zui 13....and after i update with OTA zui 14.... Everytime with lock bootloader, and everytime with L1 widevine...

I have had (almost) the same path you have gone through.
I bought the pad with global ROM, changed it to the Chinese ROM (with some bicking issues,that I managed to work out). Upgraded to the last zui13 version. Locked the bootloader. But Im still stuck on widevine L3.

Is there any way of changing this, since locking the bootloader isn't working on my case?

Yes, I upgraded to 14.0.127 with the bootloader unlocked, successfully lock the bootloader to 14.0.127 (just for all good and Widevine L1). then unlocked again and root with magisk for daily use.

Here you can download the stock firmware, then you have to install the OTA to get the latest firmware.

I extracted the files from the OTA 14.0.127, I used Termux and the payload extractor.

I did not use the Chinese VPN. But it seems that I'm now able to update ZUI to the version 14.

I bought the 2021 version with the global ROM.
Installed that firmware using the qualcomm software. When I locked the bootloader, my tablet went locked on a fastboot boot loop, claiming corrupted system. It took me a week to be able to manage to install the stock ROM again.
Can I flash the ROM without rooting the tablet?
Because locking in the boot with this stock firmware will brick the tablet. I know that, because it was exactly what I did.

It is only safe to lock the bootloader with the latest rom.

I locked the ROM after installing this custom ROM, and upgrading to 13.1.560 via OTA. And yet, I only have L3 widevine.

On the Lenovo official forum, there are several owners complaining that they lost L1 state by only upgrading the system... They claim that their tablet was not rooted.

It seems to be a Lenovo issue.

I got my p11 with Chinese rom and L1, updated to zui13 with L1 and right before updating to zui 14 Inoticed that i just lost the L1 even without unlocking the bootloader, i NEVER unlocked it. Right now it is still locked and L3. Maybe some app that I've installed?

My Pad Pro 2021 updated to Android 12 and Zui 14 ota yesterday and now I have lost Google Play Store and Google Play Services. Can't get any help from the supplier. Anyone know how to restore these or will I likely have to wait for another ota update?

UPDATE - The following fix (supplied by Equal-Second6166 on Reddit) has resolved the issue:
Go to app management and on the top right corner there's a three dot . And you'll see google basic services, enable it. Then try to restart your device if it's not working.

Yes and no. It seems you can't turn it on like you used to but it appears when you connect it to a monitor.

ONLY if you connect via a cable... if you connect wirelessly to a TV it does not switch to PC mode.

That's a PITA. My new Hisense tv will only accept a wireless display from this tablet. I'll have to get a very long HDMI cable now.

is a tablet....for gaming and internet and watch video....its not a pc...
so ,if you lose pc mode,maybe lenovo tecnics have see that it is not used often....
