If my tablet running global rom any risk impact when i do relock bootloader on adb command ?

I wouldn't do it blindly with adb, make sure the method you use worked for another user with that system, you might render your device useless.

I just received the tablet and I'm wondering how to have L1 for Netflix. It seems that the way is using the Russian tutorial and then locking the bootloader? Or is there any possibility to update TB128FU_S000020_220309 to a newest version easily?

I don't mind changing the ROM, but I would like to have Widevine support

If you install zui and manage to lock the bootloader The widivine L1 will return , installing zui is easy, after that you should lock the bootloader, I don't know of a safe method yet.

I tried to flash my tb128fu to several roms including the Chinese one but still couldn't get the L1. Magisk didn't work either. If you are using an global rom, just flash back to the original before trying anything new or you may get the error "Your device isn't compatible with this version".

The last thing I tried was to flash back to the original Chinese rom with ZUI 13, then re-locked the bootloader (my device was shipped unlocked). Immediately got the error "Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot". The device is currently in bootloop. I'm requesting the unlock image from lenovo and hoping it would work.

Just my experience, yours may be different. If anyone knows how to get rid of the corrupt error, please let me know.

I think you were supused to use the values you saw in steps 3-4 as search strings since that's what you need to change

I've tried several methods including switching to GSI but none of them support L1. Didn't try magisk cuz I couldn't find a working version for Xiaoxin 2022.

Yep it's true! Anw, do you know how to boot to ffbm? The button combination does not work for me and selecting ffbm from fastboot leaves my device stuck at the Lenovo logo

I found this forum looking for information on the tablet I just bought, which is the xiaoxin pad 2022.
The seller says he delivers it with the Global ROM but according to what I have read in this topic this makes it lose the L1 widevine.
Should I cancel the purchase, is it difficult to change ROM to have L1?
I do not do ROM changes since the ZTE Skate hahaha.
I have seen in images that put buyers in the store that I bought it , it is the following:

Yes those steps are correct. I just couldn't find a magisk version that could patch the boot.img. Maybe I just didn't get the right version :-?

Hi, all global roms for xiaoxin pad 2022 are Custom or Unofficial which require bootloader unlocked to be installed. So yes, right now there is no way to get Netflix stream on HD (just my experiences). It may be fixed sometimes later hopefully

Hmm it could work. I believe the L1 is related to the status of the bootloader. As far as I know all vendors ship their devices with an unlocked bootloader (it doesn't matter if the device's running Global or Chinese rom). Mine arrived with Global rom + unlocked bootloader -> I flashed it back to the Chinese rom (still L3) -> I tried to re-lock the bootloader but failed and got bricked lol.

So, you could just ask them if the device has L1/could stream Netflix higher than SD straightly. Good luck
