Does anyone have a solution for the notifications issues? It's the one thing that seriously bugs me about this phone and I because of this I am wanting to change to another phone. Is there any solution to fix notifications? This phone also does not allow live wallpaper

as of today i have not found a solution yet. my whatsapp notifications will appear no problem, and i have set all other apps with the same settings but this does not change anything. we can only wait for future updates or custom roms from the lenovo china department

I actually found a workaround for it xD it involves rooting the device. I went through all the trouble doing this beforehand and tried multiple apps to try and help with notifications thinking it could be an issue with doze or something - but nothing ever worked. I actually relocked the bootloader as I wanted to upgrade to the newest software and Android 9 but notifications till remained an issue. I unlocked the bootloader again and noticed that the TWRP recoveru doesn't work with this new version anymore. So this is what I did if anyone is interested:

Flashed the 355 firmware with QFIL tool and then followed the guides on here for rooting the device and installing TWRP.

After this I used a module on Magisk called Systemize apps or something like that which basically turns downloaded apps into system apps. I figured that maybe this would bypass whatever power saving setting this rom has with third party apps.

After this I enabled notifications for the apps needed, then went to the security app on the phone and added them all to whitelist and the same for autostart.

I didn't touch any battery optimization in the battery settings and all of my notifications are working perfect now!!

Quite a workaround to add each app individually as a system app instead but it finally works and it's been working brilliantly this past day :)

Hope this helps whoever else is struggling with notifications!

Still without Global Rom?

Has it been so long that this smartphone was released and has not yet launched any global rom?

[Já se passou tanto que este smartphone foi lançado e ainda não foi lançada nenhuma rom global?]

Lenovo Z5 Pro bricked

I have Lenovo Z5 Pro (official android pie, ZUI 11.1.093, bootloader locked).
I had some problems with notifications and some stuff so I decided to flash an official firmware with QFIL. but I checked (Erase all before download), now the phone is bricked and shows the Lenovo boot logo then turn off, and blue light indicator turns on.
I tried to unbrick it by flashing the firmware again and tried many different firmware versions but they didn't work.
PLEASE HELP !
