Are you kidding? In this scenario it's impossible to have no noise.
I understand. But x90pp claims to be one of the best phones this year or even the best. Apparently, this is not the case!
Btw, Oppo X6 pro has much better detail with the same main sensor😉

I wouldn't say that. It depends on different things and I think they both have their strengths. I'm using GCam and my pics have more details too compared to stock camera. X6 Pro is nice but has some other problems the vivo doesn't have.

That fact that you're using gcam shows that stock camera is far from perfect. Can you show your gcam pics?)

No it's not but I'm just a GCam user since 2017 and play with it with each phone i have. It always depends on your taste.

When I look at your pics I would say it doesn't make sense to use GCam on the vivo x90 pro plus. The overall pic looks pretty close to stock processing. Sharpeness, contrast or noise reduction looks the same like stock camera. You may get some more details but you'll have to use two configs because of the colors. Most people i know from old Gcam days stopped using it on the x90 pro plus because they say it's not worth it when you don't pixel peep.

I like more natural look like @M5Pro60 has posted. You call that "blurry" and i say it's beautiful because it doesn't look overprocessed. His config still needs some adjustments but i definitely prefer that style.

I take pictures of my family only and I'm sry but i won't share them. I hope you'll understand that. When I'll get the time I may go out and do some shots for you but i can't promise that.

Check this folder. The pics taken by martin are all captured with gcam i think. There are some good ones you may like.

Edit: i have attached some screenshots. That's with 494% Zoom. Colors are more accurate on GCam. Stock was a bit oversaturated.

The HDR processing is way different on the gcam vs stock - it looks much more natural. Therfore contrast is also way better on gcam for me. But even with two configs - the color problem is horrible on gcam on X90 Pro Plus (that's why for me a S23U with gcam takes better shots than a X90 PP stock camera - with gcam just getting the colors wrong far too often. I do not know how I could get a perfectly working color setup for XXXX Kelvin - and for each camera as every camera is very different on colours.

I much prefer gcam - and if the colours would be more or less identical to stock - I would really like the X90PP for photos -because I just don't like the way stok processes pictures in difficult situations.
Plus I think 2 configs doesn't cut it. Need at least 3-5 or 3000K, 5000K, 7000K. Plus you would need to think about each time what Kelvin most matches the current environment.
Then Vivo at least once changed the colour on camera2api (used for gcam) by a large amount - so investing time into a working colour setup could be wasted very quickly. It's a shame what Vivo does to colour on camera2api.
Because other phones have more or less identical colours in stock vs gcam (e.g. most Qualcomm Samsung or Xiaomi phones)

Show me a phone that does it better with the zoom lens in less than ideal light. Oh yeah, that's right - it doesn't exist
and btw - the "noise and ripples" you see in the water is actually raindrops as it was pouring down.
No - there is no significan noise in this image considering it's zoom and low light.
Picture with the main cam are even cleaner. I don't give a toss about whether you approve of the Vivo or not. Those of us who use it know it is a level above most flagship phones

Took a snap in my partner's garden with all the lights off. Pretty much pitch black. This is how it looked:

Now for all you haters who seem to have nothing better to do than thrashing the Vivo; show me a phone that can do this better with more detail and less noise - handheld by the way. Neither her son's S22 or her iphone 13 were able to focus.

Vivo X90 Pro Plus
Inspired by the above!

Unedited handheld auto night mode for 3-4 seconds at 1am in my back garden with only my neighbour's top floor room's rear window shining a tiny bit of light from the distance - it was pitch black and you could not see anything

My eyes couldn't even see those plastic chairs let alone what he's got on the grass

What I really enjoy about the Vivo is the highlight retention in night shots. With my Sony A9 I would always have to do a separate exposure for the headlights and blend in photoshop. This phones nails the car in one shot

And if you guys prefer a more night moody you can use -20 exposure with stock cam settings.

That's one of the things only the X90Pro+ can do, no other phone I have tried so far could do that, even the other 1-inch sensor phones can't because it's mainly about the ISP.
And it's why I'm selling the Sony a6400. Yes you can do things with the Sony that the phone can't do, but so many things that require are a huge amount of work with the dedicated camera the phone just does automatically.

Ah man, after like 30 minutes of browsing the Chinese Vivo website I finally got to the beta registration, only to find out that you need a WeChat account. Lmao. Hopefully the Demo X thingy comes to the Trial channel soon.

Vivo reached out to UniverseIce... So I guess he did not register for a beta...

    The image is blurred.
Looks like front of train is out of focus and focus is somewhere else of that picture.

I went to Portugal and my Vivo didn't let me down once.

It's easily my most loved phone to date and all my friends and family have nothing but compliments about the photos taken - some even thought I took these on a DSLR.

Yes, it'll be a bit saturated for some people but if it's being uploaded on social media on top of getting automatically compressed anyway, it's not like you're going to be able to pixel peep or blow up it at full size on a 8k screen in your pocket.

    Enjoy!

The X6 Pro night mode is a bit darker and more natural. vivo and oppo are in the same company, so maybe they will update if they think it's important.
no need for that, Stock Camera > Settings > Enable Effects Master
swipe down until -20 and done. In settings can also also make that to be saved and launches everytime with -20 exposure.
If you swipe left and right it will adjust saturation also.
