- Preinstalled LinkedIn app can now be uninstalled, unlike last few iterations where it could only be disabled. A new "Link to Windows" toggle is introduced -> a result of Microsoft-Samsung partnership.
- Samsung is calling the usb C port in the new Notes "earphone jack" officially in the included documentation.?
- The ultrasonic FP sensor is not an improved one or 2nd gen. or something, it's the same one used in the s10 series, now placed up.
- The "weight balance" maintained in the s10+ is commendable. Just for a comparison, even though the OnePlus 7 pro is just 10 gms heavier, it did not feel right in the hand at least in my limited usage, might be due to thickness and other factors.

The poll's wording makes a meaningful reply difficult. I don't consider the new Note "exciting", but it is a worthy upgrade so I'm getting it, even though I'd also be "fine with" my current Note9. The only poll choice that matches my situation is the last one, but it fails to convey that I am indeed upgrading.

Bummer with the fingerprint sensor. The images posted, slightly pink screen in middle?

Note 10+ Snapdragon vs Exynos:

Exynos 9825 is still slightly inferior to the SD 855 and GPU-wise it's a big loser(higher clocked Mali G-76 vs Adreno 640).

Exynos 9825 users would have been quite irritated had the Snapdragon 855 + were equipped in these new Notes.

*Anyone who's curious about the Exynos 9825 vs 9820(S10), well it's a very minimally improved chip achieved on a 7 nm process wherein the middle Cortex cores are clocked at 2.40 Ghz as compared to 2.31 Ghz in the 9820 and the Mali G-76 GPU is clocked a little higher as well.Rest small, big cores remained unchanged in clock frequency.

I knew that from 8nm to 7nm alone can't really change the situation. Yes, slight improvements in power consumption, but even those can't be super big and from what is already leaked about battery life - it's not great and still behind the snapdragon 855. This brings the question - when sd 855+ is so much better and a lot of phones released quite early than the note 10 with sd855+... why they didn't put only sd855+ in all note 10 variants... it's 1100 euro in Europe and we receive quite the worse SOC vs sd855+ and on top of that right before apple release their A13 that will leave everything behind as expected and known so far from the leaks.

Edit: Also it's not only about speed, the snapdragon is also more fluid - less UI frame drops, no hiccups, more responsive in the UI and general usage, and GPU drivers are better. The modem is also better and the DAC currently too (tho no headphone jack, but should help the speakers slightly) and ofc the image processing is better. HF with the exynos, I will skip. That price for such a crap SOC compared what already is on the market... this that mistake with the note 9 and it's sh** exynos 9810 - never again.

Thought so. Can I let you on a secret? I'm considering buying a note 9 again and selling my s10plus.

And here comes the other problem - you will have only one more android major version update and little bit more on security updates... then it will be also an unsecured phone. For 1000 euro... while apple supports FULLY iphone 5s from 2013 still and recently pushed security update to iphone 5 and 4s (2012 and 2011 release date). How we should still let them support their phones so poorly given how nowdays the price asked is the same, it's not like before when android was half the price of an iphone. Also it's clear how their good devs works on the latest (few months after release) and future phones. Given the poor updates, bugs, performance issues on the older ones and no real improvements. They even abandoned s7e that was given to the people that got a f exploding phone TWICE (note 7).

I can understand why..
Also I feel that'll be a backward jump too!
Solution: S11 or
even boarding a different ship especially when there should be an exciting 4th quarter'19.
LED notification ftw.[emoji23]

If I can get one cheap I dont care. Plus it will be bootloader unlocked version this time around.
