If I can get one cheap I dont care. Plus it will be bootloader unlocked version this time around.

Did you try the exynos note 9? It's absurdly bad - frame drops, bad gaming performance, apps launch slow, glitches/hiccups when fast switching apps. I would strongly advise you not to go for that phone + the bootloader is nothing, no dev for that phone. The custom section is quite lonely with just a few rom/kernels that will decline even further now with the note 10 and the soon to be released pixel 4.

so bad i cant even boot the phone.

oh wait yes i can. and everything works fine. if the lime bastard user can get it at a discount price then its better than full price even with the more or less 15 percent performance difference of the SD model. his goal is not paying full price where your argument might hold truth.

I used both variants next to each other + a lot of xda fellow members got both variant and all said the same:"I came prepared for a difference, but didn't expect it to be that big." Then returned the exynos and kept the sd variant even if there is no custom dev for it.

Each on it's own. I know for a fact how much better the sd845 variant is and yeah, I know the exynos 9810 is usable - I have one for daily.

Oh, and I have it exactly because it was a good deal - still not worth it + we should not support the practice to sell you a worse phone for higher price (1000 euro is over 1100$).

i understand that supporting bad practices is not going to help the company change. but moreover, not buying the device at all would be much more of a statement than simply buying one of the 2 variants.(if that is the goal..force change)

but i dont think users care about statements and trying to change the world. i think that as a client, user should do the right choice and buy the device that will give them the best for their expectations/intentions. some users take pride in wanting the very fastest over anything else. some want root/roms over anything else.

For me, I dont play games on my phone so it's a non issue.
I too do not play games on a phone. But it actually is a concern, I would say, when the inferority of the SoC reflects in camera image processing, modem, batterylife, heat management etc.
When a device is sold with the same naming as one device where both perform differently and one behaves like having a yesteryear SoC of its Snpadragon counterpart, it does raise eyebrows.

The exynos is no slouch, but undoubtedly a new CPU architecture is required as the addressing of this issue is long overdue(started with S9).

If Samsung had their way all their devices would utilize exynos.

I try Note 10 at the store (tmobile) display...

And I have to say that I hate that thay remove right side button !!!
(The one I use on my note 8 for screen on/off)

And even more, I have samsung led cover...I don't see how I will use that type of case with note 10...

Don't like it at all...I hope they will return right side buttons in future...but thay probable will not...

So...the bundled AKG N700NCM2 wireless headphones...Can't hold a candle to my 2.5 year-old Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 2.0, both in battery life and sound quality. For a capable phone like the Note 10+ I would have expected something that supports BT 5.0 with Aptx or Aptx HD, not the rubbish codecs with these AKG pairs.
