I preferred my note 9 to my s10 plus as well.

Like my note 10 plus better than either though lol
Dunno how you enjoy the exynos note 9... I mean, everything beside the performance is top for real, but the performance...
It's not normal that my 2015 iphone 6s is a lot more smoother than the note 9 and that my old HTC M8 (custom to the bone, true) is tie and even smoother in some regards vs the note 9. It's the exynos... 9810 is really bad. Even midrange snapdragon will give you a better experience in the UI/normal use.

See my signature. Got one from the launch (i.e. a year) + got HTC M8 + exynos s7e + iphone 6s (this is currently). The frame drops are all over the UI, I am not even talking about gaming or heavy gaming (i.e. fortnite and so on). I have quite the experience with android, phones, tech (work, education, hobby) - so I can assure you that I am not the one that leads to the poor performance. I know I can fix some of it going custom ROM/kernel, but I don't want to currently. I want a secured device that is maintenance free, but fast and fluid - even the iphone 6s provides that a lot better than the note 9. Also knowing that it can be improved a lot - it's salty that samsung do nothing and sell their next phone.

I had to use an iPhone 6 for work for a bit, its what they gave me back then so figured id try it.

Lasted a few months, hated it apple sucks plain and simple and that phone could not hold a candle to my note 9 in any regard. I swtiched from that horrible thing to my old S6 and was much happier lol.

I dont know how people can stand apple honestly, you cant even do something simple like load music on one without itunes or some BS software.

Total crap in my opinion, glad you prefer it and thats your outlook but it is most certainly not mine

True, true, I myself like android more, but can't say that apple does not do some things better. Saying all that: iphone 6 was the last of the old generation while 6s(the one I have) is the first of the new one. 6s is so much better phone than 6 that you will not guess it, esp given the similar/same looks. Not only the CPU and GPU are quite a lot faster, but also got 2GB of ram vs 1GB. The experience is quite different between those two phones.

As for the mp3 - this changed with ios13, now you have a file browser for your phone memory + also supports USB flash drives and hard drives. You can easily load/download mp3 without itunes and use one of the many app store good music players to playback (same for android, who uses google music? I am on poweramp).

Saying all that, I still think android is great, just want it to improve regarding smoothness, app polishing and support longevity.

Also to say that the 6s is better than my note 9 would be a lie. It's smoother sure, but that is one thing among a lot of things that make a phone great. Only if I had the snapdragon variant... :(

P.S. with "this is currently" I mean all of those phones, not only the 6s. The 6s is for vacations like sea, where I don't really use the phone and as I run my phones naked (and the note 9 will scratch like crazy around the sand).

Half eaten apple is practically half used when not in its own ecosystem. Android is FOR open - Ness, ios is locked down but wrks brillianty in apple mac with ios world. Apple should come with a disclaimer in box ""buy me if u r with Apple ecosystem only to get the best out of me"". Android only buyers dnt find that openness first time buying iphone and keep cursing. I mean comparing android with with ios is just apple vs oranges comparison.

give apple another 5 years and its gonna be as good as dead. all signs point to that already. they release old technology at a premium price. ( in all their lines of hardware) plus their OS cant keep up, its ancient and neanderthal now. they are removing stuff that once were praised to have. its bizarro world compared to 6 or 7 years ago.

last but not least, the sheep will wander off. once the heard stops pumping cash into the company mindlessly, they'll just fadeaway. just hope its sooner rather than later. their users are annoying, their ads are annoying and their devices are very very annoying to use.

I don't understand this hatred towards apple .....or its buyers (and from them to android!), anymore than I understand why people buy their phones - every year without fail! Its like they are getting something that blows away the competition but never does. They have been better in design and quality for a few years but the raft of Android suppliers have improved immensely and surpassed them. My note 10+5g is stunning. Sometimes a little too complex though and even a die hard fan says this!! Try installing a camera notification ring light app and get it to work...i gave up.

I've had every note, exynos chips get better and better each time, but after the note 5 which I had an issue with, I even tried an apple 8 plus but after 2 weeks sold it - hideous. When the note 7 flamed, I bought the S8 and then sold it for the Huawei mate 10 and the Porsche design mate - both of these were better than any apple phone.

However I understand the abacus approach apple take in ensuring users find them as simple as possible to use. I find it boring. I won't buy into their overpriced products made with cheap resource and I won't be dictated in how I use them.

While this is an interesting read , I feel that the G- Fold is not going get sold a lot to be successful enough(yet) after "being so late", thus not going to open doors to let go of the Note series to slap the S-Pen with the "S"(going by the article) so soon.

Instead, I would rather like to see the vanilla S to stay as it is and the S-Pen with the Fold in next iterations irrespective of the current Fold's success or failure.

I've noticed that my phone (N10+) charges faster than it states (not complaining) it charges from usually 15-20% to 100% around 30 to 40 min I don't use it if it's charging (that maybe have something to do with the time) I have the att version but flashed the unlocked firmware to remove all the bloat, no kind of optimization to battery our apps always in performance mode.
